I went T's yesterday, shopping bill was £80.xx, after vouchers, coupons, etc. £50.xx. Let's just say cashier did not thank me, or smile but I smiled sweetly and said thank you!
DH Was impressed, even though when I showed him the amount of coupons I had to go shopping with, he told me I was obsessed! :rotfl:
yesteday I just carried them in a little envelope. Some days they are just stuffed in my bag. Must get more organised and write a list of them all,e xpiry dates, and then use them that way!
wowsers that's good going. where it works out that you get the product for pennies I don't mind trying new products (eg the ariel stain remover). Can't see me buying something just because I have a coupon if I can getter better value on another product IYSWIM. Do you use all the coupons you can lay your hands on? Or shop around so that thanks to the coupons you get things for silly prices?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Coupon and chat mixed threadI have been trying to print the Dove coupon yesterday and today but I keep getting an error message on their website. Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem?:(0

I was just wondering how people store their coupons, as I can't see them fitting particularly well into my purse.
Hi and welcome,
I got hooked straight away too.
I use 2 clear a5 wallets (5 for a £1 in Poundland I think) one for coupons one for receipts.
They fit nicely in my handbag and are not to bulky. I had then made some inserts with coloured paper to divide them into store specific, rtd/apg, conditional spend, grocery standard and non food.
Hope this helps.

oh I only buy the stuff if I can get it cheaply. especially if it is stuff i don't need right now. I couldn't get the rice fusions though, tried both S and T. and voucher expired yesterday. Shame as DH said it sounded nice.
couldn't get free crisps but I can keep looking with voucher.
I don't buy the products just because we have the vouchers, I will check my usual stores, to see which sells it the cheapest. I have spent vouchers at Iceland, as they worked out cheaper, and that suits me fine.0 -
Idlesaver in chargemine are in envelopes(DL) one per shop and one for non store specific coupons
what i do then is write on the front what coupons are, how many and end date.
so all i have to do then is look at the front on the envelope for which ever store i'm in.
cross them out when used, occasionally changing envelope when no room left to write on them , also keep them together with and rubber band.pavlovs_dog wrote: »dipped my toe into the couponing waters this weekend and I'm hooked. Idlesaver in chargei do that too buy stuff that i need with vouchers that are on the best offer
never buy what i don't need or can't use in time or thats to over priced even with coupon use
rice fusions were in A's £1.79 but i think £1 last week.sorry just noticed you said expired.
if you mean seabrook crisps they are in M's i found the bigger the store better selection of flavoursoh I only buy the stuff if I can get it cheaply. especially if it is stuff i don't need right now. thats a good idea about the envelopes/plastic wallets. shall have to raid the stationery stash and see what I can find.
sorry for the million and one questions... if my mum wanted to get involved (where do you think I get my bargain hunting skills from?!) Would I be able to set her up an account with supersavvyme and print via the same printer and PC that I use for mine? Or does their software prohibit this? She doesn't have the first clue how to turn a PC on, nevermind negotiate the internet so it's not something she'd be willing or able to do herself.
also, does anyone keep a record of how much they have 'saved'/benefitted through use of coupons? I was thinking I might save the difference in a jar towards treats or OPing the mortgage
thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and all the hard work in finding, organising and sharing the coupons :Tknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Idlesaver in chargewelcome aboard
no you can't use 2 account for SSM on same pc/print as you rightly say because of software.
i've been keeping receipts but not totted up my spend/save yet.
worth getting into and once you get use to the coupon rules, best usage etc you can save loads
my recent examples in T's
£48.43 down to £25.07
£62.40 down to £31.03
£22.00 down to £8.00
also worth noting alot of us(if not all) use conditional spend vouchers too , the £3off £30 spend sort of ones
so if you don't have a tesco, co-op or nectar card its worth signing up so you get those vouchers too.
see 1st page and you'll see T's take other store ones so use more than one and get even better savings.
rule with conditional spends
should/is that if you say have a £3 off £30
and £4off £40 spend you should spend £70 to use both in same shop.
BUT no all T's know/follow this rule
so if your lucky with your store
the above voucher could/maybe useable on a £40 shoppavlovs_dog wrote: »thats a good idea about the envelopes/plastic wallets. shall have to raid the stationery stash and see what I can find.
