I have had trouble using coupons at self scanning machines but others haven't. Quite often a SA will come over and see what your doing. I personally avoid them if I have coupons, it isn't worth the hassle.

If you have not used internet printed coupons in your store and you think there will be a problem go to customer service and see what they say.

Each supermarket can have a different policy, and some are more co-operative than others.

Basically one thing is common in all stores, you must buy the product to use a coupon.

Unfortunatley you will need to put up with a certain amount of embarassment, it happens to all of us at one time or another.

Keep an eye on this thread, you will see people talking about all the problems we go through to use coupons. Because no matter what happens, the occasional trouting, or whatever, we all come back for more.

You can save a fortune using coupons, and as long as you do not photocopy them, as long as they all have different barcodes on them, are in date and you follow the rules written on the coupon, then go for it.

Hello, I've also had problems this morning so phoned the 0800 (un) helpfull line. At first stated no problems then said would check with "back office". Came back and said that they are updating their data base..it should be up in later.....???. I asked why it didn't say that on their web page and he said it would in a couple of hours. When I said I'd been trying all day he said Oh well just keep trying ! As though I have nothing better to do!

i missed yesterdays daily mail for the code and thought i'd missed out.
got mail today, as always and if you missed yesterdays you can input todays code and when you get next saturdays mail that code will make it so you can get the £5 tesco voucher
