I hope you don't mind me asking but do they sell well? I can knit fairly well but would never wear a knitted jumper myself (my inbuilt central heating control has always been way too high, even before the menopause!) I have some gorgeous vintage knitting patterns somebody gave me for children's jumpers (little ducks around the bottom and I was thinking of adapting it to do scotty dogs too) and I was thinking of knitting a couple to see how well they sell!
Back on topic, Indian takeaways have become a rare treat, we used to have one once a week but now we're lucky if it's once a month (and even then we buy it on a night we don't have the full complement of kids) :rotfl:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Fat von, I'm n expert knitter ( only thing I've ever been an expert at lol so I like saying it!) and people will not pay the money, they expect everything for £2. Tried it once and soul destroying so wouldnt do it again.0

Thanks, Mardatha, I had a feeling that might be the case (on ebay at least!) I might still have go at knitting one and show it to the posh independent children's clothes shop where they could get away with charging a premium price, if nothing else it'll give me something to do with my hands while watching TV!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Alpro soya milk.0

You might get work from them yes. Worth it if you're doing nothing all day anyway. Sometimes they want you to sit in the shop and knit, get talking to the customers and hook them that way. Touristy shops do that.0

Alpro soya milk.
That' a shame - it is expensive tho. I have to buy it as my son has a milk intolerance and only likes Alpro out of all the soya milks, and i drink it too for the health benefits (and because he can't get thro a whole one before it would go off).. I also have to buy organic as they changed the normal one and i don't like it anymore.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -

There is a woman on our market who charges £4 for a baby's plain knitted cardi (18 - 20 inch chest) and other sizes go up by £1 so a 22 -24 inch will cost £5 and so on and they do sell well and cables are dearer as wellBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
