I'd have to say that seeing friends and family(assuming you have a family and want to see them) is a luxury now. I have in recent years been unable to attend crucial close family funerals due to lack of finances and have been in a long term long distance relationship where I have not seen my OH for just over 3 years.

I used to buy soaps and stuff at Lush almost every week and now I can't afford it, haven't been for 2 years at least. Maybe I'll treat myself and buy something small from there soon.

thats the ones, but plain chocolate, I'm the only one in the house that likes plain chocolate so it means I get the whole box to myself. I'm not sharing. I'm nice, but not that nice!!

I have just been doing my shopping and noticed that the plain Bahlsen Leinez biscuits are on buy one get one free as well as the milk ones. It says the offer ends on the 21st. You might want to buy some and hide them.:D

Just make sure you don't sit in the garden on a hot day while your mask penetrates your follicles...you will end up with scrambled egg head lol.

I'm absolutely :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - I have visions of many MSE'rs with bits of scrambled egg on their hair. Reminds me of a close friend who had a nasty dose of thrush and took up meysuggestion of chilled yoghurt except I'd neglected to mention the natural part. She rang me to ask if the apricot pieces would be harmful to her "insides" (that was after she had used it!)

Be careful what you wish for - I only have a bath, no shower and it's worse than useless. I have to work act motivating myself to have a bath in the morning - baths are for bedtime, not to refresh yourself in the morning :(

My hair doesn't rinse properly in the bath either :(
    :o:o:o

Further to this, I had a plumber here this morning (all day actually!) to change the bath, new taps and fittings and stuff, check the cistern, and... my LL had arranged for him to put a shower in as a surprise :D:T

You wouldn't believe how grateful and excited I am to have a shower tomorrow :o:D:T

Freyasmum, you've got loads of friends on here!

If you're rinsing your hair in the bath make sure there's no soap/bubble bath etc in the bath water otherwise your hair will go quite strange. i speak from experience on this one as having lived in a house (not now) for 7 years that had a supply from the local river which used to dry up to a trickle in the summer meaning water was rationed (I also learned the hard way to put water in a glass first before adding cordial after coming nose to nose with a pond shrimp in my glass.... I screamed very loudly). I used to fill a jug separately with water to rinse my hair that way i knew there was no bubble bath etc in it.
Aww, that is so sweet - thank you! :o

That's another thing I had been missing in my baths - all my pretty bubble baths that I've acumulated.

Oh my heavens  I can quite categorically say that would've been the end of me! :)

    For me, its fresh flowers.

I always used to treat myself to some fresh flowers when I went shopping, not expensive ones, just a nice bunch that would last a week and smell nice.

Now I have to think, flowers or milk, flowers or milk??????

Can't remember the last time I bought any now. :(

    They are definitely my treat.

    flowers for me too :(

I used to always buy tiger lillies now I only get them when they are reduced in my co op, I get them for £1.50 instead of £4 and they still last about 2 weeks. I never buy full price flowers.

Lush bath bombs used to be a weekly treat, now they are extinct in my house.

magazines, used to buy the house and home type ones, now I read them in the shop :o
