I also need to order some black ballet pump type shoes with leg ribbons for dd's prom, she has some relly high heels but wanted a pair to change into if necessary, but I cant find any, any ideas ??

Redruby - are the ribbons a necessity? if not what about the fold up ballet pumps? they sell them in New Look and places online for under a tenner. I have some and they are great to pop in a (biggish) handbag!

Today flew at work! beautiful day apart from a few short showers. My vertigo has come back though. I had a few moments last week when I felt ill, but I've been nauseous all day today :( I was planning on going to the parade for the Swans being promoted to the Premiership tonight but don't think I can cope with the big crowds and noise.

OS wise - bins emptied, may have a tidy round if I feel up to it.

    Have a good evening all

Good afternoon all, had lovely day with my friend the we went to my craft club and we made some nice cards. Had ham salad with all the trimmings followed by some lemon drizzle cake, just have to sort something out for dinner tonight. DGS Mikey's 7th birthday tomorrow and he is buzzing already. We are taking the boys up to London for the day tommorow and are going to let them spend some time in Hamleys so its going to be an expensive day I think. But Mikey will have his birthday cash, and his next brother up Henry's birthday is this Friday so I may give him some birthday cash in advance. My DGD Hollys's birthday next month it seems to come all at once. Can't believe we are almost halfway through the year already.Right time to go for a root around in the freezer for dinner have a good eveing all.
    Cheers JackieO xx

No the ribbons are not essential, but we thought they might look pretty :D, I have had a very kind offer from one of the ladies on here, who has a pair of those fold up ones unused, and who has offered to send them to dd, what an :A, will try them with her outfit, hopefully they will do the job perfectly :T:T

Thought I'd do a little Catwatch update ;) her walking.....well when she thinks about it she can walk better but it appears her instinctive abilities aren't there at the mo, she can't turn her head and walk, she promptly falls over. She also uses furniture etc as a temporary prop as she's walking round. .

Oh Bitsy that could be me you are describing:eek::eek::eek: Seriously though Im sending healing vibes x

I have actually just had a very positive hospital appointment at the pain clinic. I actually went away with a bit of hope xx

Hope you all have a relaxing evening x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I'm back and I survived my hospital appointment!!
And it was good news, they are going to take on my case on the nhs and give me braces!!!!
I'm sooo pleased, I actually cried a little in front of the poor orthodontist woman lol.
But I'm just so happy as I'd been thinking the worst, that they wouldn't be able to do anything for me so now I'm just in a state of elation that I will one day have a smile to well.... Smile about :-D

Note to self......don't automatically grab 2 bags of pasta when you go shopping....tidied the top of my cupboards which is where I store my bulkier stuff and found 4 unopened bags of pasta, to go with the 2 opened ones I have and 2 bags of spaghetti! :rotfl:

    Morning everyone

7.15am No-one had started thread and I don't know how to start it, so have posted in 2 parts today.

Sunny, bright but chilly after all the rain yesterday. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. Boys up and eating brekkie as they are going to stay at mum's tonight and I will collect them straight after work tomorrow lunchtime. Got home at 4.30pm yesterday afternoon, had a good time away although the weather was changeable and on Sunday so windy, had to take the awning down in pouring rain, so have that in the shed, but looks like we should be able to get it dry after today. Now back on the healthier eating, ate several things I just don't really eat very much anymore and my stomach really knew it, (possibly not helped by the amount of alcohol consumed!) We're not away next weekend but are the weekend after so will have a couple of strict weeks and that will get me back on the straight and narrow. Back to work today, deep joy, but at least I have a job, for that I'm grateful. Tonight dinner will be fresh pasta and sauce, want to do something quick and easy to ease myself back into the week. DS2 is going away tomorrow afternoon to SIL for a sleepover not sure when he's coming back, may collect him on Friday.

    9.30pm
House is very quiet here, boys away until I collect them tomorrow after work. DH and I had fresh pasta with sauce for dinner, have organised lunches etc for tomorrow, WM is on, DW programmed to come on at midnight, have s&s worktops too. Oh, and a white wash out on the line.

Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.
