Thanks for the good wishes. Still feeling yucky but managed to preserve the computer and get some work done. Worse thing is I'm eating virtually nothing and not losing any weight. That's just not fair.

We went out to see Pirates last night. 3D gave me a headache and my glass of white wine was interesting. Really should have known better than to go for a curry afterwards. DH got to be a greedy pig.:D Think I'm sticking to water and very little else today.

Cat that sounds horrid; I hope you can get some relief soon, you can't live on water and fresh air forever!

Bargainbird much sympathy; my hands are like that a lot, specially in the mornings, but the rheumy tells me I just have to learn to live with it. Hope the problem subsides for you soon.

LittleLauz very best of luck with your appointment. I know what you mean, in that I hate how I look so much that I refuse to allow mirrors in the bedroom! Keep us posted on how you get on, won't you?:o

Bitsy hope Daisy's having a good day today.

    Afternoon Peeps,

been MIA for a few days as my visitors have kept me busy. Hope I haven't missed too much, hugs and spoons where needed((())))

Had a nice day yesterday in York and enjoyed a pub lunch, despite it pouring down all day.

Today though its much brighter and breezy and have my washing on the line. Also managed a quick vac this morning and cleaned the main bathroom. Its hard to have any sort of routine at the minute so just fitting it in when I can.
I have made a chicken and veg soup and two loaves and twinks hobnobs, still trying to be OS despite everyone making plans to eat out all the time.
Need to pop to the bank and the post office before they shut. really need to think of a way of upping my income as there doesn't seem to be much out there. Does anyone have any ideas for working from home??

Anyway off to blend my soup, will catch up as and when I can.

    Happy Tuesday all J x

    Afternoon All

Have done three loads of washing and it is blowing away on the line :D DD has just brought hers down so I am off to do that in a mo.

DH is working all day today so I have a bit of peace - I love him to pieces but he really is overprotective with my health problems and sometimes he tends to smother me so it is nice to be able to not worry if he is behind me all the time.

Bitsy I hope daisy is doing ok and that she is home soon x

bargainbird .....ouchins it does sound like sciatica ((((((hugs)))))

    littlelauz.....positive vibes (((Hugs)))

Well I had better get my bot in gear before DH gets home.
Hope eveyone has a good afternoon x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

If you ask at the chemist there is something suggested for people with sickness so bad they can't take medication - it is a tablet that is placed between lip and gum and dissolves gently. It really helps with nausea and retching but is about a fiver for eight tablets.

Hi elona. Thanks for the suggestion. We've tried that already - and my DH has been asking gastro at the hospital. (He's colo-rectal so not much use) Think I'll be sleeping in the spare room tonight as he's on call tomorrow and needs his sleep.

    Hey ho.

    Hugs Nic, sorry your soon-to-be ex is being a t w u n t :( xx

Julie - No ideas about working from home. Only way I thought of doing it was to become a childminder.......

Thought I'd do a little Catwatch update ;) her walking.....well when she thinks about it she can walk better but it appears her instinctive abilities aren't there at the mo, she can't turn her head and walk, she promptly falls over. She also uses furniture etc as a temporary prop as she's walking round. She's eating and drinking although not using her litter tray and not really going per se. Not sure if that's a case of can't or won't use the tray so that's something to keep an eye on. She sleeps a lot but then the anti b's she's on do knock her out. She's been out again on the cat harness and they took her out the front and she was massively spooked by a car.....so here's hoping she's learnt her lesson. It's slow progress but it's still progress in the right direction. thanks for asking about her.
