Lemon_Tree wrote: »glad it wasn't just me! Got home last night and OH asked if i'd coloured my hair, not because he'd noticed but because of the mess on the toilet and floor. I thought i'd cleared it up but it must have 'developed' during the day. Thankfully the flushable toilet cleaner wipes cleared most of it, just left a shadow on the plastic seat lid which will fad as i clean it i guess. It's bloomin' annoying though as i need every drop i can get out of a bottle as i have such thick hair.
Hehe yes I had exactly the same problem with the dye developing on the floor, sink, bathroom cabinet, toilet etc! It took a lot of scrubbing with bleach to get it all out in the end. Needless to say I would not buy again!
1 UU today - Neutrogena nourishing foot cream, WNBA a bit too slimy for my liking, I found my feet sliding around my flip flops all day after using this in the morning :eek:0 -
Alanis no wonder you were shocked to the point of nightmares - I would thinkmost folk would be in that situation too. It's a terrible thing to see someone get that badly injured - I saw someone I knew (not well, but to speak to) seriously injured at a speedway meeting over 20 years ago (he dies four days later) and I'm afraid to tell you that it isn't anything you will ever forget, but in time you will find the memory will settle a little. Could I suggest that you only seek counselling if you feel it will help - but don't suppress the whole thing - I can well understand that formal counselling isn't for you (it wouldn't be for me either) but you do need to be able to talk it through even if just with family/friends. The police may, or may not decide to speak with you - if they do then if you simply explain that you heard a noise and turned round and it had happened, then other than potentially asking you if you saw anyone running from the scene, etc I would think that will probably be that. There is nothing worse for them than having people who claim to be witnesses and actually only saw the aftermath, but have convinced themselves that they actually saw what happened, so you'll be a breath of fresh air! Let us know how you go - and I'm sure the others will agree that if you need someone a bit less close than friends/family to vent to, you can always vent on here!minerva_windsong wrote: »Third OUT for June this morning - my Body Shop DeoDry Dry Effect Deodorant Cool & Zesty Roll On has finally given up the ghost. WNBA as I started using the Mitchum one when I was on holiday and it is so much better - no nasty sweat patches or dubious smells, so that's now my Holy Grail and I'm sticking with it. Thanks to everyone who recommended that one
Thanks for your review of the BS one - I was going to give it a try but will stick with my Mitchum now!

Quick one from me
Out - my beloved Hermes Eau Claire de Merveilles 50ml. WIBA? Of course, I can't live without it. But I got the 100ml bottle from one of the perfume shops online for less than I paid for the 50ml in John Lewis. So I'll be shopping around before my next lot runs out.
No purchases apart from Grazia with a £1 voucher. Pass the halo.....0 -
My second BS order came today but only two items are for me, the new spa jar honey hand and foot cream (smells lush!) and 3 in 1 corn mask. Couple of other bits are for gifts.
I feel quite chuffed that I have not bought any of the other mags with freebies but I am now tempted with the supermodel nail polish! May take a peek!0 -
MarzipanFish wrote: »Is the leighton denny supermodel very similar to the fashion fawn that came with instyle? It looks like it from pics I've seen.
I'd say the fashion fawn one is lighter.VALM My sister orders her Weleda prodcuts from feelunique.com If you haven't used them I can send you a referral link if you like. You'd get 10% off your first order and I get a £5 voucher. Though the only thing I buy from them is this Triphala (something sister1 introduced me to, she's very much into herbal supplements). I was tempted by a TIGI Catwalk set they have (at cheaper than lookfantastic) but resisting until my stash is down - if ever
UU
Cutex Nourishing Nail Varnish Remover 200ml - wIBA? Yes. I do prefer this one to the sensitive one. Now onto a spluttering sensitive one.
IN
Andrea Fulerton Trio Smile in a Storm (£7.99)
I LOVE these polishes!!
This is after applying the lighter colour at the other end:
I also bought an Andrea Fulerton cuticle 'groomer' which I needed and didn't already have - so not an in.
I am however firmly on the naughty step. We all know I didn't need more polish
The price in-store said £8.19 but it scanned at £7.99. I also used the survey discount from a previous Superdrug receipt (my first AF polish) and it classed it as own brand, so it was discounted by 25% not 10% as I thought it would be - even better!! I see a possible cycle to increase my collection...
Thanks for this sawan. I think I'll probably still get Weleda from Boots.com as it's free delivery to my local store. I was hoping there was somewhere that I could go and buy "off the shelf" I'm a little impatient sometimes.
Cutex has become a HG product for me. I like the Ultra Cleansing one.
That grey colour is gorgeous.
Sadly I think my nail lacquer compulsion is really waining. Any other time I would be googling away to find this collection but sadly today I feel very apathetic. Hope there's a cure out there for me. lolBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

charlie792 wrote: »Well the write up on all the jobs is the same - what they are looking for in a person etc which is everything I apparently demonstrated in the phone interview I just had....
The jobs themselves are slightly different - the one in Swansea was Inbound sales, the one in Newport Inbound claims and the one in Cardiff seems like Inbound queries.....
All things I could do regardless.....
Ive fired off an email as I can't seem to find a phone number (they rang me from a private no...)
Would seem totally illogical working for a company 50miles away when there is a similar job for the same company going 2 mile down the road, just damn typical they only advertised them after Id already applied for the other job!
EDIT: OH home from work so I had a chat with him about the situation and we have a sort of plan if I don't hear anything in regards to getting a position closer to home.... Firstly he said I need to check the financial situation of taking the job (already done!) and we agreed that although it isn't ideal my best bet is to probably take it if offered (as long as they dont do a Yes Loans on me and tell me at interview its a 60hr week) but...
A) continue looking for a job elsewhereMake it well known that if a transfer opportunity were to arise I would be interested
C) seeing as the job is for an insurance company see about the cost of me getting insurance on his car - he'll begin teaching me to drive and Ill finally manage to get out of this damn hole - So many jobs I can do except they require a driving license
Charlie, i think that's a sensible attitude really, once you've got a job it's much easier to get another one, it's annoying but very true as it will give you experience and when you're starting out in the working world properly then it's often experience which is the catch 22 issue. Hope it goes well and i really hope they offer you a job closer to home.
my first job after uni was a commute down the M62 which i did 4 days a week (they only worked half days on a friday so not worth the commute) for £60 a week. I got almost as much when i worked three evenings a week at a local takeaway but it was the step into the work place i needed. This was 16ish years ago when there was another recession so once again it was really hard to find graduate jobs but even then £60 was bu99er all!0 -
another UU tonight - Tesco tea tree shampoo, only I cheated and used it on my horse as the tea tree helps with the flies
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

VALM forgot to say it's free delivery no matter how much or how little you order! That's why I buy the Pukka stuff from them rather than direct. Pukka Herbs charge full rrp obviously, but they charge for delivery too
I'll have ins tomorrow. I'm in charge of magazine buying for the reception at work. I may have picked up a Harper's Bazaar with the orange polish, though resisted a second High BeamAlso my sister's BrandAlley order has arrived and I suspect there's a heat spray for me in there

Evening all,
Not had time to post my UU and Ins yet for June, so they have been building up!
I'll try to remember everything ...
Firstly, Ins
Avon Naturals cherry blossom shampoo
Avon Hawaiian shores body spray (er, neither of which I needed, but I'm not buying anything from this book!!)
Freeby Benetint from Glamour, I subscribe so it is a genuine freeby, I would have preferred the posietint because I've never tried it, but never mind.
Freeby Lipcote from Glamour magazine beauty giveaway
No 7 speed dry nail polish in Iced Mocha, £2 with my £5 no 7 voucher
And some UU to balance it all out!
Tony & Guy 75ml Daily clean shampoo, WBA if I ever run out
Tony & Guy 75ml Daily style conditioner, WBA if I ever run out
Tesco sensitive body lotion, WNBA, too runny and not moisturising enough for my shins!
Jergens body lotion sachet, WBA in about 10 years time when I finish my stash
Chanel Aqualumiere foundation sachet, WBA, this was a really nice sample, but I dread to think how much a Chanel foundation costs!!
I think that was everything. Hope everyone is wellNo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins0
