Forgot to say Alanis - you already know the answer with your OH don't you. Can I suggest that next time he tells you to "man up" you tell him that if it's a man he's wanting, you can recommend some clubs he might try?! Alternatively, grab something large and heavy and give him a smack with it. Then one more smack from each person on this thread who's reading this and thinking "yup!" - then, as he lies battered, bruised and probably crying on the floor, tell him to "Man Up" and see how he likes it?!

My OH would be devastated if even in play he did anything which drew blood - he wouldn't be able to apologise enough. Honestly hun, you deserve SO much better. :(

:D another UU tonight - Tesco tea tree shampoo, only I cheated and used it on my horse as the tea tree helps with the flies ;)

Citronella's brilliant against insects, but check out whether of not it's suitable for use on animals. ;)

I've reached the point where I just dont care anymore... I want to make it work, obviously, we've been together 3 years. But I'm tired of telling him how I feel and being told to "man up" (its one of his favourite phrases). I cant help but feel my friend is right, I dont have high self-esteem by any stretch of the imagination, but I dont DESERVE this, surely??

Alanis, don't you DARE apologise: that's what we are here for - between product applications, at least! :rotfl:

I'm really sorry about what you saw - that was horrible, and is the stuff of nightmares. I can totally understand why you can't get it out of your head. I'm not the sort to normally recommend it, but maybe some post-traumatic counselling might not be a bad idea, even for just a few sessions.

As for your BF, no you blummin' well DON'T deserve all that. At best, he is unthinking and your relationship has hit a point where he is no longer paying as much attention to you as he once did, and at worst he doesn't pay much attention to your feelings. See how you feel over the next few days, but perhaps this has started to make you think differently about your relationship for a reason.

Best of luck with everything: it sounds as though you are having a rubbish time of it at the minute and that you need someone to look after you for a little while. x

Morning all, still loving the Supermodel nail varnish. It's my first ever LD colour, so didnt use a top coat to see how it lasts, so far so good, no chips which is a first for me!

Used a sample of the Nivea Pure and Natural body lotion, quite nice not sure whether I would buy it though, maybe if it was on offer.

UU - Lancome Tonique Douceur. WIBA? No purely because of the price. Its a nice enough product but no better than say Botanics.

    Morning!

No postie for me today :( Think he's done a runner with my mail! Was expecting a few Ins as a few days ago I ordered some free lip pencils.....

Generally feeling very unpositive about everything today....OH and me talked last night and Im seriously concerned about the next coming months, hes 90% sure he's going to lose his job in August and worst of all by law his boss only has to give a weeks notice (which to be fair I doubt he'll even do). I have this sick feeling Im going to find a job and he'll loose his and we'll be in a worse situation than we are now, especially as my salary won't be nearly enough to cover all the bills.
OH searched for new jobs last night but there really wasn't anything around, only one in Wales which he's already applied for - the rest around the country but not places we could afford to move to for the money, other than that all the other jobs he found were in London and I have serious doubts if you could even live anywhere near to London on the salary.
On top of that, technically I need to inform council tax Im no longer a student (trying to eek it out a bit longer) so we're going to loose our discount so bills will be even higher and back in Februrary out EA threatened us with a rent increase in August too.....

Also I checked that benefits checker - according to that if OH was out of work we'd only get his JSA of £53 and if we were both out of work it still says we'd only get his JSA of £53 (as I havent paid enough NI) and £13 CT benefit..... Not sure how they work out a couple can live off £66 a week (£264 a month) when the rent alone is double that, and we are in cheap accom!....

Upstairs just had another row.... only ever hear 'her' scream, he's quiet as a mouse. Then she spends the rest of the day stomping round the flat. Don't think she realises Im the only one who gets to hear it....

Fingers crossed Charlie... Some years ago, my guitar-mad son was super-keen to work in a music shop, he did a 60 mile round trip daily to one branch until a vacancy came up at the branch nearest home.
So much news on here... Hugs to all needing. I loved the Hug Coupon Sarah posted.

On topic I have two UU's The first is yet another old cream/lotion used as foot cream. This one was a Dove Pro-Age hand cream used up as foot cream, tube cut to bits in best MSE fashion. WIBA? I would, certainly, if I needed hand cream. Except that I don't . Applying all the lotions and potions daily has my hands in super-smooth nick. I always use both sides of my hands to rub in body lotion and make sure I massage in any excess cream from anywhere.
I also UU'ed a So... Sinful body spray. Cheap and pleasant scent, WIBA? Yeah this was a nice one, but I still have others to use up.
I think I have about four or five more creams or lotions to use up on my feet this year, I've already used up nine old part -used or OOD products on said tootsies this year - possibly more, if I've forgotten one or two. A great way to clear old products out of the stash and keep them out of landfill.

I probably apply my cream the other way round to most of you. Because I nearly always wear cotton socks or trainer liners rather than nylon tights, I plaster my feet in the early morning as I dress rather than apply it at night, I can't keep socks on in bed.

I got my boots mailing today too but I haven't opened it yet. I don't need anything at the moment, the time that I'll be shopping in boots is coming up to Christmas when there are lots of gifts to give but at the moment, we're sorted for any upcoming birthdays.
Have been busyish today. It got really overcast earlier so I was able to put the second coat on my utility room walls. I can't do it in the full sun because I can't see properly and it ends up all patchy.
Looking forward to a nice pampering bath tonight with leg shave etc. Will try to hunt down my NV too otherwise I'm going to have to borrow DD's again :o.
She wanted her toe nails done the other night but I was the last to get the bath. She came in to me and I said I wasn't going to have time. I'd already asked DH to do it and he was horrified. When she came back to me, I said she'd have to ask her Dad. I don't know what she said but he did it for her :D. She's got him wrapped around her little finger :D.

Postie came eventually - no freebies though (except for many a funky pigeon card) nothing from my nan either :(

Got the boots thing too seems I got the same as Sarah's OH. Not that I really bother with boots as I find it so pricey compared to Bodycare. They never returned my missing points either so Im not exactly bothering to make an effort with them....

Im slowly starting to peel now from holiday - managed to prevent it pretty well though, think when I get home Ill slap on some moisturizer as that seems to do the trick.... On that note I finally opened and used my S&G body butter....its an interesting texture, nothing like other BB's Ive used, interesting smell too but quite nice - Lemon, Orange and Flowers

TV has broken - well Virgin box. Had the TV on it just totally froze, tried switching it off and trying again but now it won't load and is stuck on 'AP:52' whatever that is....
Probably just as well as I need to get to town and get some chicken for dinner tonight so I suppose its a sign I should get off my bum and get on with it....

There was something else I was going to add but its totally escaped my brain - Will edit later if I think of it....
