Thanks Kaz, I shall have a look :)

I have some outs thanks to fleabay...

FCUK sugar scrub 300ml -WNBA it's rank
FCUK sugar scrub 75ml - WNBA it's rank
Chilli pepper bath set x 2 - WNBA it stinks
Radox smoothies gift sets x 2 - WNBA because i've seen people on here say it's not nice?? :rotfl:
Frizz ease 3 day straight - WNBA it makes my hair absolutely awful and impossible to straighten

    Think that's it :D

I got an email this morning offering me £40 to take part in a study that involves using no creams on your legs plus not shaving them for 5 weeks over summer :rotfl: £40?!!! :rotfl: I think i'd want at least £40 a day for having hairy legs in June/July!

I ws thinking of buying the Frizz Ease 3 day straight but was put off as it's always on offer really cheap, glad to know it hasn't lived up to expectations, my hair has a mind of it's own and all I have heard is a few good reviews but my hair hates being coated in products so it sounds like it would be a waste of my money. I'm having realy good results with the Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam, it's lightweight, adds lots of volume and shine and my hair stays straight for a few days after using it alongside the straighteners.

I have some FCUK products that I don't think I will be using either, may see if they are worth listing too :)

I don't blame you for not doing that study, £40 is definately not enough to be covered up for five weeks!

    Morning ladies,

2 UU for me this morning - yey! :j

1 Dove fresh spray deo - WBA but have 3 more to use in stash!

1 Veet Hair minimising body lotion - WBA more because I love the smell and the consistancy is very light for summer rather than because I've noticed less hair! But again I have 2 more in my huge stash of body lotions to get through anyway.

I'm really looking forward to the free benefit make up in Glamour tomorrow. I'm determined these will be my last in's for the month though!

I have tried the Frizz ease 3 day straight and quite liked it although it's nothing special. But I have long fine hair that has a wave in when dried naturally - definitely not curly. I often find when trying new hair products that are great the first few times I use them, then my hair gets used to them and they don't work anymore!

Hope everyone has a good day :D

Well done bargainbetty :T I think you might be the next person to graduate from our challange.

It's going to take a while! I still have enough moisturiser to last me until the Olympics!

XOXO - I use any good thick cream for my feet, really slather it on and then wear a pair of socks for a few minutes to help it soak in. Anything with peppermint extract is really nice on the tootsies - very cooling!

    Morning!

Did anyone get thier copy of Glamour through the door today?
Im litterally SO annoyed! I heard all this noise this morning and looked out of the window to see a strange man hanging around out there and messing around with my wheelie bins, anyway about 5 mins later there was a knock on the door so I ignored it thinking it to be the wierd man, turns out it was the postman and he'd left me a sorry you were out card for 2 things! Grrrr even more annoying as I didnt think it could possibly be the postman because he never comes before 12, ever ever and yet today he came about an hour early.....
Most frustratingly though I can't even get the stuff until friday now as thier redelivery or collection service won't allow anything for 48hours!

Hope this isn't a sign of things to come for today.......

Edit; strange man is now in my back garden pulling up weeds! Ive literally no idea who he is as hes not my landlord. Its a bloomin long walk from the front of the property to the back too so ive no idea.

Oh charlie that's annoying and also a bit freaky. Do you think you have a guerilla gardener?
Have had a lovely lie in until 12 today. So tired, I haven't slept properly for days. DS was in at 7.15 this morning wanting breakfast and DH said he ahdn't done their lunches either so I got up and did their breakfast and lunches. Then got back into bed and told DH he'd have to take them to school. He went mad because he's got to take them tomorrow because I won't be home from work in time but I don't think he get's it. I'm knackered and I'm working tonight so I would be going 26 hours without sleep whereas, yes I know he's tired but he gets to go to bed tonight. Grrrr. I don't know why I'm not sleeping though, it's terrible. I've got so much to do too and it's all down to me :( I've got a half finished window frame but DH's going to have to come and mark it because I can't get high enough to see. He'll go mad about that too I expect.
Awwww, seems like I'm having a woe is me day :o

    Ladies! Foot cream!

Any recommendations? My feet aren't particularly dry or anything, but I tend to go barefoot a lot during summer so I was thinking it would be a good idea to start using a cream.

I've tried S&G, but I don't like it at all. It's too thick and smelly for me. Any suggestions for a decent one that doesn't stink and isn't like smearing toothpaste on my toesies? :D

I have the Aldi Lacura one which is nice. Can't comment on the results as, as per usual, I have neglected to apply it regularly. I'm rubbish with caring for my feet.

    2 UUs for me today:

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic - am trying to find cheaper alternative and have a bottle of Botanics Rosewater to try next.

Bottle of Issy Miyake A Scent WNBA. Liked it when I was using it but don't feel any sadness now it's gone! x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Hi everyone!

Some UUs, Outs and Ins to report.

    UU:
Green People intensive repair shampoo. WIBA? Not sure, it was OK, but I cannot justify the price at the moment.
MD Formulations moisture defence. WNBA, the results didn't justify the price.
S&G Hand Food. WBA once I've used up the other hand creams.

    Outs:
I threw away Avon Superlash mascara, Avon invisible light concealer, Revlon olive eyeshadows, Dainty Doll blush and contour powder, Rimmel face powder, Revlon Beyond Natural foundation and Collection 2000 Shimmering Glow. All were far too old to be in my make-up bag!

    Ins:
Superdrug Simply Pure eye make-up remover, SP15 face cream, light moisturiser and facial wipes. I'd run out of normal face moisturiser, and a friend recommended these.
HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69
Lloyds Credit Card: £1418.62, Very Account: £518.99, Barclaycard: £126
Total Debt as of 9th June 2020: £15066.66

I'm the same and will put any good thick lotion/butter on my feet and pop a pair of socks on - but I am loving the Champneys Foot Butter at the moment :p It's still minty but really really subtle :D
