Another UU to report: another Corsodyl Daily. WIBA? HG product for me, but costs a ruddy fortune! (Special offers, here I come!)

(I can't believe that is my 49th use up of the year - that's immense! :j)

Thanks :) Should be getting a 2.1 (fingers crossed) but it really hinges on the grades I got for this year, which of course I don't know yet so if I did bad in the exams and dissertation I could in theory walk away with a 2.2 which to some isn't the end of the world but I will be pretty gutted - good news is Im the only one in my family to go to university so Ill always have the highest grade anyway :rotfl:

    2 UU's today :)

    - 1 x Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo (so my IN yday was justified! :rotfl:) WIBA? yep as it lasted ages, but they have made the can smaller now so not as good value. Got a Batiste one to try now

    - 1 x Nails Inc Angel Hands hand cream - I've had this for years so glad it's finally been used up! WIBA? it was nice but I wouldn't pay NI prices.

OH has been a bit :( because the money we put aside to do 'something nice' on my birthday on Sunday will now have to be spent going to his parents to see his brother the week after  so I've decided that we are going to have a day out in town (which he HATES!). He can help me buy a new top without moaning :p (vouchers), buy a couple of books (vouchers), see a film (vouchers), Pizza Hut or McD's for dinner (vouchers) and buy me a Krispy Kreme donut. Total cost under £15 :D I'm looking forward to it -just need to choose my movie :p

I should totally do this with my partners mother... Everytime I see her we have to go out and spoil me as a reward =p
Though now I feel bad for writing that, lol

Its in Glamour mag due out either tomorrow or Thursday....I subscribed to it and usually get it a week or so early but I saw someone else on the forum had posted it was delayed this month for some reason, but as far as Im aware should hit the shops as usual

Good luck!! I get my grades around August I think =s I'm not as smart as you though, I've pretty much resigned myself to having got a 3rd or possibly a 2.2, if I'm lucky, due to unfortunate reasons. I was mortfied when I realised how badly I was doing, but then I realised I actually couldnt do any more work than I was doing and got abit too laid back so I really dont care all that much now.... I'll be qualified that's all that counts. [STRIKE]Once[/STRIKE] If I get a job, no-one will care what grade I got for uni... Hopefully....

I like your way of thinking though... I'm also the only one in my family to have gone to uni, so I'll have the highest grade there too =p :T:j:dance:
I finish Thursday so got a 4 day bender planned with my different circles of friends [STRIKE]OH DEAR LORD HOW WILL I SURVIVE??[/STRIKE] so that should be fun:beer:

Alilade - Where are you going on holiday? As for your Lush perfume, I can understand your dilemma, but go on, use it! My Mum bought me a lovely cashmere jumper one Christmas, I only wore it once and it began to bobble where my shoulder bag had rubbed against it all day. After that I out it back in the wardrobe, vowing only to wear it on a really special occasion and what happened? Next time I looked at it it had 2 huge moth holes. That really did teach me a lesson.

We're going dubai:D didn't think we were going on holiday this year as I'm not sure we could afford it, but as it's in term time, not school holidays, it worked out a lot cheaper:j thankyou for talking sense into me, I guess it's just PRCP. That's a shame about your jumper, it sounds lovely :) I'm guilty of doing the same with clothes as well:o

    No7 have a SPF30 Lip & Eye Protector which is £2 with the latest skinny - I use it - it's good :D

ahh thankyou:D I don't have a skinny though (I can't risk going into boots:eek:) but thankyou anyway:) think I will just use my normal vaseline. Those 20g tins take forever to finish!

I have had some UU today:j:
candy cane bubble bar x2 (not in one bath:eek:)- WBA- I liked the smell of these as they are sweet and not the usual spicy christmas scents (eurghh) and are half price in the sale so aren't as expensive and last quite a long time-I think I got 5 baths out of each bar, I crumble them and keep it in a kilner jar and use a handful at a time. Bit bored of the scent though.

mini BS mango shower gel- WBA- definitely! lasts ages and I love love the smell!

which brings me to my next problem. I saw the 50% off code for BS and have added mango whip, BB and scrub:eek: so so tempted!

I'm also going to try ebaying some of my toiletries as I need some money for clothes for next year. Oh how I long for a school uniform:rotfl:

my GP put me on a low dose anti depressant for migraines, thye can be caused by wrong serotin(? spelling) levels in the brain, you need to be on them a few months but they worked for me,I used to get headaches that lasted 3 days and nothing would help so I do understand, hope you get better soon

Thanks Rosemary - the longer a go without one the better as the body "forgets" how to...but I am a lot better nowdays thankfully :).
    Hi all,

Just a note for the migraine sufferers - I used to get them really badly, and it turned out I had a combination of food intolerances. Red wine and chocolate, cheese (or meat rennet) and red wine, combos would leave me with a migraine. I made sure I didn't mix them for a couple of months and it went away.

I'm down to 81 items in my stash now, and finally had to make a purchase - conditioner! My first 'real' purchase since February 9th! I had used up every one I had in the stash, and was even a good girl in just buying the product itself rather than a 'matching' shampoo and leaving the partially used ones in the cupboard as per usual! I got a 3-4-2 deal as well, so it should be counted as a bargain. It is the Pantene Aqua light stuff too, I love it!

I had a proper look at the old sunscreens etc, and several were a few years old and going a bit manky. I have sensitive skin and burn easily, so using sunscreen is important (I bought new stuff last summer and used it up, doh). I'm not willing to risk using stuff that won't protect my skin! Not very MSE, but I have to have a mole removed soon, so sod it, I'm not going to take any burning risks!

I also gave away some Molton Brown stuff - try as I might, it just doesn't suit my skin. So, with all that, down to 81.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Well done bargainbetty :T I think you might be the next person to graduate from our challange.

Fingers crossed for you Charlie and Alanis - I hope you get what you want.

1 UU - L'oreal Invi'spray hairspray that has been lurking for years. WNBA as it left my hair crispy and looking overstyled. I now only have my HG Gum that a got a few months ago for £1 each.

As for sun cream I know that Which had rated Asda's own range as a best buy for the factor 30 and 50 ones.

Also Lidl are selling Batiste blush, tropical and original 150mls cans for £1.49. In case anyone is looking for it at a good price.

    Ladies! Foot cream!

Any recommendations? My feet aren't particularly dry or anything, but I tend to go barefoot a lot during summer so I was thinking it would be a good idea to start using a cream.

I've tried S&G, but I don't like it at all. It's too thick and smelly for me. Any suggestions for a decent one that doesn't stink and isn't like smearing toothpaste on my toesies? :D

Oh SJP, poor Immy :( I hope she gets better very soon. xoxo, I like the hemp one from TBS for summer feet. In the winter, I use any old body butter but my feet are inside boots all the time so they don't get so much hard skin.
I have some outs :). DD's friends birthday so I have given her the No7 black make-up bag with the trial sized blue mascara (she's 10, 'nuff said!), the lip gloss as I loathe lip gloss, an eyeliner as I never use it and the body shop shea butter lip balm. Unfortunately, when I dug this out of the drawer, the plastic from around the lid came off. I put it back on but couldn't find the other bit of it. I will catch her Mum in the morning (neighbours) and let her know that it was brand new and was just my clumsiness. Bit :o though. I also made her a little denim bag with a pink skull and crossbones lining but I don't think she liked it :(. I feel bad if she didn't because it's a big thing when you're 10 isn't it.
I have added water to the body shop cocoa butter shower gel because it's very hard to get out of the bottle. Hopefully it will be UU soon!
