One UU - a perfume that I love (Dalissime eau de toilette) had it for years and sad to see it finished, but I have to be strong and work my way through a DKNY Be Delicious and an M&S Love before I buy more. I also have a L'Occitane neroli perfume but that is more of a heavy evening scent so I'll just carry on using that as and when.0

Morning all! Used the Aqua Light last night, my hair still feels quite soft but not as soft as usual... Not sure about it yet.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0

Hi all,
Just a note for the migraine sufferers - I used to get them really badly, and it turned out I had a combination of food intolerances. Red wine and chocolate, cheese (or meat rennet) and red wine, combos would leave me with a migraine. I made sure I didn't mix them for a couple of months and it went away.
I'm down to 81 items in my stash now, and finally had to make a purchase - conditioner! My first 'real' purchase since February 9th! I had used up every one I had in the stash, and was even a good girl in just buying the product itself rather than a 'matching' shampoo and leaving the partially used ones in the cupboard as per usual! I got a 3-4-2 deal as well, so it should be counted as a bargain. It is the Pantene Aqua light stuff too, I love it!
I had a proper look at the old sunscreens etc, and several were a few years old and going a bit manky. I have sensitive skin and burn easily, so using sunscreen is important (I bought new stuff last summer and used it up, doh). I'm not willing to risk using stuff that won't protect my skin! Not very MSE, but I have to have a mole removed soon, so sod it, I'm not going to take any burning risks!
I also gave away some Molton Brown stuff - try as I might, it just doesn't suit my skin. So, with all that, down to 81.
Hope everyone has a great week! Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Bargainbetty you are absolutely right about the sunscreen - if you're not sure of the age of it, or know it is more than a couple of summers old, then into the bin it goes and replace with new. One tip someone mentioned on here a while ago is to write the date you bought it on the tube or bottle so come next year you will know? Quite a good plan I think. If you have an Avon Lady then they currently have a deal running on suncreams etc - 3 products for £10 - I'm currently using their SPF50 cream and find it very good.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

You should have seen the goop that came out of the bottle! Wouldn't have put that on my skin anyway! Wasn't even sure about tossing it down the sink, but needed to recycle the plastic.
Thanks for the Avon tip - I shall investigate as their skin creams are generally pretty good on my skin. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

You can use them in your washing machine as detergent and fabric softener - there's a few 'receipes' on this board and the Old Style board

Planet Spa Olive Oil Hydrating Face Mask

The last 6 are sachets.
One UU: Planet Spa Lavender & Jasmine Overnight Facial Oil: WIBA? No - I'm definately NOT an facial oil person - I tried it last night and I just felt grimy all night and had to clean it all off at 3am  Will chuck the rest in my bath tonight

A huge thanks to Sawan for giving me the idea of having a sofa nap  I still couldn't sleep yesterday afternoon so decided to lie on the sofa and watch some drivel on the TV - and woke up 20minutes later :rotfl: but it was enough to get me started so headed for bed and had 2 hours - got up and fed the dogs - and then back to bed for another 2Still tired but feel soooo much better
OH has been a bitbecause the money we put aside to do 'something nice' on my birthday on Sunday will now have to be spent going to his parents to see his brother the week after  so I've decided that we are going to have a day out in town (which he HATES!). He can help me buy a new top without moaning
(vouchers), buy a couple of books (vouchers), see a film (vouchers), Pizza Hut or McD's for dinner (vouchers) and buy me a Krispy Kreme donut. Total cost under £15
I'm looking forward to it -just need to choose my movie
