I have so many ins to report today! I've just found a Lush Fresh Farmacy bar which must be at least 2 years old... They've even changed the style of it since I last bought some! Would it be safe to use if it's a few years old? As far as I know I've never actually used it. Also got a Pantene Aqua Light freebie through the post, I'll try that out tomorrow. Also found two more perfumes, BS White Musk (don't even remember getting it, must be my auntie's...) and something called Red2 which has a tester sticker on. Actually have no idea where it's from, I certainly didn't get it but it's been passed on to me. May google it to see who makes it :) Oh and an Urban Decay eyeliner pencil in a coppery colour plus a tiny Claires nail varnish which is clear but slightly purple and has moon shaped sequin thingies in, I know the nv is around 7 or 8 years old....

    Welcome savybunny!

Count what you like, but count as much as you realistically can so that you don't find yourself buying yourself treats in, say, the nail varnish department as you know you haven't counted them in the challenge, but you have in, say, the hair department. ;)

Personally, I only count what I define as 'excess ins': that's to say, things I've bought that I don't need. Since the start of the challenge I have had to buy myself toothpaste, mouthwash and a really, really big bottle of shampoo, but I haven't counted them as I needed them. Cotton wool and cotton buds don't count for me, either, but then I only buy a few of them at a time (as little as possible to stop me having to run down to the shops every 5 minutes). I haven't bothered to count nail varnishes or make-up - of which I don't have all that much - but I am trying to use it up before I buy any more. However, whether of not it is counted in the stash, I add the UU to my signature as it's a question of counting the fact that it has been disposed of, and also keeping me motivated: there is little that makes me happier than finishing off an item and logging on to update my signature. (Yes, I am a geek! :rotfl: )

Hi all :). Welcome newbies, huggles to poorlies and anyone else who needs/wants them :).
DD is very bruised tonight but at least her leg is scabbing over. She was showing me her massive bruises either side of where I put the plaster on and I had to point out that she went down with a heck of a bang :(. She also has a big scratch on her eye courtesy of her having a paddy about washing her hair last night and getting shampoo in her eye (karma) and then screaming the house down when I grabbed a towel and she rubbed really hard with it. Unfortunately, it was fresh from the line so nice and crispy and has cut her eye (karma again?) but she's not going to look good at school tomorrow when she goes in :o. Couldn't believe the state she got herself into when I asked her to wash her hair, she screamed the bleedin house down cheeky mare. Not impressed with that behaviour and she's now grounded. Next door have a 6 month old and it was about 8pm so she could have woken her up. If not, she would certainly have disturbed everyone else in the household who was settling down to bed. Naughty girl :(.
I got stung on my back by a wasp which flew up my dress earlier. Really painful :( probably karma for wanting to hold DD under the bath water last night :o (I didn't, I hasten to add ). Sunburn really stining tonight when I got into the bath and was in a rush to get on with sewing when I got out so haven't moisturised. Will do my legs and feet when I go upstairs to bed pretty soon.
Need to try and get my hair cut tomorrow too.
Will try to pop in tomorrow but am mad busy and have a really long to do list! Night all.

    Quick post and run:
UU: 500ml Bliss lemon and sage soapy suds - this has lasted since January!! It does smell lovely and foams well but probably WNBA on account of it lasting too long!

Does anybody else have a problem with disposing of packaging, as in they can't bring themselves to, or is it just me? :o

:rotfl::rotfl: I do too - but I'm trying not to - I did a big clearout and took a load to recycle at Origins - It's the mini/travel sized ones that are a big problem for me - they can be so darn cute and useful ..... one day :rotfl:

dyed my hair last night and it looks OK - not as red as the picture but reddish - will try and get OH to take a piccy later :D

I'm absolutely exhausted - not sleeping again  I want to sleep but it hurts to stay in one position long enough to drop off  Going to go into town to pick a few bits up (not toiletries :p) and will hopefully be knackered enough to pass out for a couple of hours when I get back.

Avon lady due today or tomorrow ...... :o

Hope you all have a great day

    Morning All.

    Welcome newbies!!

sarah*a - hope you manage to get some sleep hon and feel better for it.

Valm - I tried the avon Lavender and Jasmine face mask last night. i am a twit - I thought that both sachets were masks but one was an overnight oil, i ripped this open and oil went everywhere, I was very shocked, so that's an out now. The mask is a peel off mask and is a lovely irredescent purple, smells lovely, didn't sting but I can't see any dramatic results so i won't buy again myself.

sawan - hope you are feeling better today, migraines have affected me since i was 5 years old, they are not fun, hope it's not a regular occurance for you.

Sarah I hope you do manage to get some sleep. I am intermittently a bit of an insomniac. There's nothing more annoying that needing to sleep, wanting to sleep and not being able to. It might sound weird, but have you tried falling asleep on an armchair? I find when I have achey muscles lying down they hurt after a while. But sitting/slouching it's not as bad.

Some are so lovely. I should empty out the plastic in the Gok Set so can store more stuff in same box, but it looks so lovely! I did manage to remove the contents from an EL mascara gift set after forcing myself, now takes up an 1/8th of the space of the main box it was in :rotfl:

Fiasco Not sure what being hungover feels like :o but today I'm feeling like I've been hit with a cricket bat  I woke up ok, but when I got out of bed it was whoosh: pain.

Vivh I'm hoping it's a one-three day thing :( My sister2 and mum get them really bad and boy do I have even more sympathy for sufferers now :( I've never tried a peel-off face mask (will not get addicted, I promise!), what does it feel like? Are they meant to show results in one go?

Is there any fix or just painkillers and bed? I hate the nausea I've got alongside the pain in my head :(

Not gone to work, was about to but got barred. Probably a good idea actually as maybe driving when feeling so sick isn't a very good idea  Going to PYNM with Orly Golden Maharajah.

Savvybunny Totally love your stash list :)

Thanks Hun :D I'm back from town so hopefully will be able to sleep this afternoon *insert fingers crossed icon*

I've got those Avon sample sachets coming today/tomorrow - I ordered all 3 sets - I'll compare my results with yours (but will try not to spill the oil ;))

If I get no joy back in bed I'll probably try that - thanks for the idea :D I'll settle down with a blanket, a mug of hot milk and something bland on the telly - see if that works :(

Gift set packaging does make me laugh - Take the Fearne Hat Box - HUGE and the contents would have fit in a sandwich bag :rotfl:

    Hope your migraine passes sick_in_bed-3579.gif

I've only ever had a couple but my brother suffered for all his teen years - a quiet dark room was what worked for him :(

I managed to go to town and only buy what I went for (apart from what I couldn't find :p) No impulse buys and no toiletries :j

Another UU (well, throw away!): some old chap stick or other.

It has a picture of a birthday cake on it, so a friend bought it for me as part of a birthday present. I put it on before I chucked it, and it seems OK, but then I remembered how many years old it is and thought !
