Hi all, I am going on the 10th June sooo excited! Anyways I was wondering if anyone had been who travelled by train from Liverpool. The last train back to Lime Street is something like 11:15 and was wondering whether we would get it? xx

    Hi,

Went last night and it was fantastic.

Arrived at 4.45 and queues were massive. They did not open the doors until 5.25pm and we got in at 5.55pm.

Bag searches were someone glancing in your bag so take that as you will. I had a bottle of Red tucked in the back of my jeans with my coat over and that was no problem.

Camaras everywhere, add to the botton of your bag and they will not see a make anyway but I did not see any large ones.

Lots of seats still available as all the lower tier is sit anywhere or stand on the pitch. I would say if you could not get by the stage then take a seat as the stage is so high you are constantly looking up. No one in the seating area sat anyway once Take That come on everyone stands for the duration.

Set out is the large stage with a long catwalk and a mini stage at the end of that. Most of the performances are on the main stage.

Take That get of the Mini Stage and shake hands with the audience around this so go to this area if that interests you.

Drinks were £4 for a pint of cider or Fosters. Food was £2.50 for Chips or £5 for a steak and onion baguette etc.

Toilet queues (Ladies) were massive inside the stadium but if you walk outside by the food / drink stands they have a number of portacabins which had no queue. You could also smoke out here.

The joke was then getting back to your seat. The open doorways into the stadium are run on a one way system. So only a few doors got you back in which were rammed with people trying to use them. Expect to wait around 10 minutes just to re-enter.

Worth every penny and more…. Excellent night!

    Depends on your tickets.

If you are General Admission they send you out the opposite way you go in and it took us 35 minutes (Fast) walk to just get back around to the point were we entered. Here are a number of buses for the train station. I would say you would miss it for 11.15 but may be wrong.

Just spoken with a colleague who has been twice this weekend & she said exactly the same as you - :jsaved me typing it!

She took a large camera & had no problems. She said during the concert, TT were encouraging photos to be taken.

    Can't wait!

Thanks for all the information so far everyone.

I'm going to the next one... please could someone help me with parking?

We're going as a family with young children. Would like to park someone that's not too long a walk from the stadium, but also somewhere that will enable us to get away without just sitting in the car for an hour. Any advice? We'll be looking to head back north up to Cumbria afterwards...

    Thanks.

Someone posted this (below) on another thread and we used it the other night and it was just brilliant. 3 min walk and no cues to get out.

    Take that parking!
    Hello!
Anyone going to Take That at Manchester City Staidum
We are doing car parking at The Grange Commuity Centre in Beswick. Which is a 3min walk right to the stadium. We only charge £5.00 and most places are dearer!
We open at 3.30pm until an hour after the concert finishes.
