Take That Manchester - Questions..

Hi,

Can anyone help?

Can you take food and drink in?
What time is best to get there?
Where can you park and how much?
Can you take in picnic blankets / fold up chairs for the standing area?

We are going on Sunday and can not wait!

Thanks, Nikki

I have searched and searched and managed to see parking is £10 but limited and doors open at 5pm so plan to arrive at 3pm.

Can not see anywhere on what you can not take in... anyone help with that?

    Thanks, Nikki

Tickets are not in hand yet so that answers that thank you.

We have purchased standing / unallocated seating but we were hoping to stand and take our own fold up chairs.

Just not sure if they are allowed.

    Cheers, Nikki
  • Ive got my ticket but can't see anything on back about taking fold up chairs. I have been to a few before and am pretty sure have never seen any inside so either noone else thought to take them or else they not been allowed in with them.

Give them a call they should be able to tell you. I'm suspecting not allowed but you never know.

Enjoy the concert Im going Saturday can't wait just hope the weather picks up again by then!

We went to Sunderland on opening night, it might differ between places but we could take food in but had our bottles of water/coke confiscated. They only searched bags though so you could pop them in your coat pockets and get them through, they were selling them a minute inside the gates anyway (£2.60 each ). Gates opened at 5, went in at about quarter past and had the choice of any seats so managed to get really good ones, standing didn't really get busy for an hour or two, just people who wanted to be in the front couple of rows. Lots of people had picnic blankets or fleeces in the standing area, didn't see any chairs though so can imagine they wouldn't be allowed. My best tip is to wrap up warm as we were bloody freezing all night! Plus if you're taking a camera make sure you have plenty of batteries. It is an absolutely amazing show!

It wasn't that long, I think we got there at about maybe 4.30-45? The queue wasn't that big when we got into it, just before 5 everyone seemed to join it though. Seats didn't fill up until quite late, when we went in we could have picked any section we liked, even up til about 6 you could probably sit where you want as long as there's not a big group wanting to sit together, there was a lot of seats in ones and twos, you just had to ask if anyone was sitting there. I guess it depends where you're going though, I imagine Manchester or one of the bigger venues will probably be busier earlier.
