    aldi stuff we like -

Toastie bread (hubby is warbies feind and this passes is taste test) but at 69p compared to £1.25!
    Oven Bottom Muffin bread rolls
    Vintage cheddar
    Fruit juice
    Salamis and deli meats
    Tinned toms
Frozen petit pois but not the peas!
    Fair trade tea
    Gin!
Cat food - our IAMS snob moggy is converted!

Only think I didn't like is the baked beans (too sweet) and the kids yogs, also they don't do a cordial that doesn't have artificial sweetners in which is one of my 'things'

Hi, Please could you put me down for £210 for June. That's for 2 adults and 2 children.
I have raised this month's budget by £10 this month - diet food and general food price rises have seen my spend creep up slightly over the past couple of months.

    Hi

Reporting in my spends for the day now I'm back home with LO for the rest of day

    £25.17 in Mr A$da

Thou it's more then I would of spent as only needed a few items, they had OH's shower gel/body spray at £1 each so I stocked up spending £7 but he won't need shower gel for ages now lol

Most expensive thing I brought was £1.39 on some reduced chicken n cheese steak things, wouldn't of brought them but I like them and a treat is allowed if I make savings else where, or so I tell myself

Tonight dinner is corn beef hash and rice YUM

I got a £5 chicken from Co-op this week, jointed it and have now made two different curries with several portions. Some went in to the freezer while one is going to be served for dinner tonight along with homemade aloo paratha which I am making for the first time (fingers crossed).
I am having a bit of a difficult day today - personal stuff getting me down - so I did some whirlwind housework this morning to keep my mind occupied but have now slumped and must admit I am now in bed with a headache. Mind you it's not surprising I'm in bed considering I was stressing so much last night I only got a couple of hours sleep! Just so many things to worry about lately!

Philsmum - thinking of you today

Thank you again for the £shop suggestion for a magnetic whiteboard. I got one today and have now tidied the freezer and listed the contents.

MrT suckered me in with vouchers this morning. £5.16 on food - four small wholemeals for the freezer, iced doughnuts for the boys and 27 pack penguins at £2 for packed lunches.

Duuh. Menu plan for this week included chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella and wrapped in parma ham (all in the freezer I thought). Appears the chicken was chicken qtrs. Will it still work or do I need to rethink the menu? Not sure where to put the mozarella:rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for all your good wishes.
We arrived at the court at 9a.m. We were the first there so didn't have to wait very long. We were taken into a room and this lovely guy took our forms, explained everything to us, we paid our court fees and took the file to the court usher. We waited for about 45 mins and she came back with the file and she said the judge had OK'd it we then had to take the file back to the first guy he then copied everything for us and that was it. The O.F rang us this afternoon took information of our bank accounts and said we would receive some papers in the post in about 8 - 10 days. So now we are both in a state of shock knowing we are or soon to be DEBT FREE. This has been the most harrowing few weeks but we can now start to live again.
Thanks to everyone on this site for the friendship and advice.
