Well yesterday started well, but ended in a pizza takeaway :( However, better day today, took DD1 to a party, then came home and made toffee popcorn.....had everything we needed in cupboard. So we're having a movie afternoon watching old films. So NSD 4 Wahooo!

......and I'm off. NSD 1 declared today. Raining now so will stay in and apply for jobs. Plus I have two rainbow trout to cook from a Delia recipe so should feel a little bit treated.

Right back to job applications - Dull, dull, boring and dull :(

    Oh well, better crack on.

    Good luck all,

'Ello ello ello! what's going on here then? :D Afternoon...errr...evening  everyone - well it's raining cats, dogs and other assorted animals dawwwwn saaaaafffff atm - blimy, is that a donkey I have just seen fall from the sky?! Ugh, weather is rotten, I've even had to put the heating on to take the chill off - living room only though, oh and the bathroom as I can't turn the radiator off in there.

Well as predicted, today was not a NSD. Popped into town to get a few bits (what did I go in for? oh yes, bread and milk mainly) which resulted in

£1-1p store; weed killer, double pack of party rings and toothpaste = £2.97

Mr T; Bread, Naan Bread (more curry tonight), bananas, jar of their 20p Discount Brand pasta sauce = £1.76

Mr S; crisps (request made be OH), tin of sasuages and beans (my guilty secret), pilau rice = £3.94

    Milk (local store) = £1

Total £9.67  Yikes, how did that happen?! I also noticed in Mr S that they had charged me 30p instead of the SEL price of 29p for the beans (should've got them in Mr T at 28p)....so I actaully went to the CS desk to ask for the 1p refund - well why should they get the extra profit? :o

I did notice in another £1 shop that they have some good toothpaste in store atm, I might pop in tomorrow and get a tube or two as it's Colg*te Total Sensitive (big tube) which is a bit too good to pass up - even if I did just buy one at the other store.

Still watching episodes of Extreme Couponing and wishing it was possible in the UK - I'm feeling spreadsheet envy.

Argh, can't believe it's Mon tomorrow already - how did that happen?!
