Back again to declare NSDs number 7 yesterday & 8 today.

They're stacking up so easily I think this may be an indication that I need to get a life !
  • Ohhhh my, been meaning to pop in for days now and keep forgetting until I'm tucked up in bed:o.

So, a few to report and have managed No [STRIKE]6[/STRIKE] 7 I think that's about the first time ever I've had a NSD on a Saturday (usually supermarket day) but it's been sooooo miserable (and only 10 deg:eek:) I haven't been out!

I've actually managed a huge string (for me) lunches at work every day last week and didn't go for a wander at lunchtime (very busy so a quick 1/2 hour) which saved a couple of likely spends and 1 from last Sunday.

Did collect food from the pet shop on Weds but he'd had to order it so I'd paid for it last week (which is why I've changed the 6 to 7).

So, that's an incredible 7 in a row for me (cc cut off date is the 10th and didn't want to put any more on to have to try to find at the end of the month) - probably never to be repeated!:rotfl:

Hope it's a bit warmer / drier where you are!!!

BDINI- I am in a union but it's not recognised at work, I did try to talk to the Chair of the Board but he wasn't very helpful. Mind you the chap who left is the one possibly taking it to the tribunal I'm supposed to be a witness in if it comes to it so maybe stuff will come out then?

Fingers crossed Kathy, it sounds like things need to come out & people need to get their comeuppances (is that a real word???), i'll be keeping things crossed for you, please let us know how the tribunal goes...

Wow, things sound exciting Keiss glad you are able to take positives from what could have been a bad situation, & how fab to be able to work for yourself!!

:j:j to the new furniture Jinty

Well as predicted spendy day for me, & i have definitely walked off last nights takeaway, as i had to make 3 trips to Mr W to drag all the compost i needed home in a suitcase, with hindsight i should have taken Hubert, i could have strapped it all to his back!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Only deviated off my list once, & that was only because the local freezer shop had that fish thats in all the adverts at the moment on offer - 2 salmon fillets in lemon & herb butter for £1!! I couldn't pass up a bargain like that, so grabbed a couple & a 1kg bag of frozen prawns for £1.49, dead chuffed with these bargains & at least i know it's food that will keep (if i don't eat it all straight away!!)

And then just to make today that little bit better i popped into the library & they had just put the brand new paperback from one of my favourite authors out, it's never even been read, so i got really lucky there :D

No more spendy days coming up for a while now, i'm hoping my purse can stay put until next weekend (apart from Monday's pub money, but thats already put to one side), right clean sheets need putting on the bed & i need to get into it, all the walking & gardening has worn me out!! Night all x

Won't be on much for a bit as laptop died this morning, not sure if it's fixable... had a really crap 24 hours, why does everything go wrong at once? Ended up with me stupidly bursting into tears at work :(

(((((((((((Hugs)))))))))) psychopathbabble, hope Friday and today were better for you.

  • Howdy MSE mad NSD'ERS,
I fly in with NO 4 :jnot how I got it. Apps are tempting me again as Folders are freeing up space!! (don't know how to put Apps into Folders into one of each). Don't know how I got it, It just knocked on my door and said 'hello' as I noticed I did not spend today at 12:15am. I always count spends or NSD's from Midnight to Midnight, that way a spend can propel me into a Spendy (as it did at Tesco AGAIN!!) meaning I am thinking I might have to go out without purse, and or card and or limit myself if I DO spend which I really need to do.
Hope everyone is well, gotta catch up on the thread!:beer:

  • I find myself spending more on Spend days so perhaps a Spend Well and healthily hedonistically etc Challenge might be in order to properly balance the NSD's no matter how few or astoundingly many?
