Hya folks - thanks for all your good wishes. It was a good redundancy meeting with HR...so good, I have decided to take voluntary redundancy! I wasn't going to as I had an evening teaching job lined up....not much, but something. The money on offer was far too good an oportunity to miss, so I am finished by the end of this month and then off on a new adventure!!

I was pretty sad yesterday and broke into tears a couple of times - though I will still be in and out of college invigilating after mid-August.

(Huggs :grouphug:to you Psycho...hope your'e feeling better today.)

I could think of applying to other colleges...but I think I will have a go at setting up my own business, using the redundancy money as part of the start-up costs. Now all I have to do is work out what I want to do!

I have so many ideas buzzing in my head, I really need to sit down and get things written down and start sorting out what is feasable and likely to make me happy as well as giving me a decent return.

This could well be quite an exciting period of my life, so watch this space!

Keiss - WOW! What a day for you! Glad it worked out ok for you. Sounds like exciting times ahead for you. Looking forward to the next chapters!

Busy day for us today. Ordered some new furniture for the living room! OH got an unexpected bonus this week so we took the plunge and ordered a new telly unit (sorry, audio-visual centre!) a nest of tables and a coffee table. I am SO EXCITED as for the first time we will have MATCHING furniture instead of looking like a jumble of mismatched items!
Also braved the madness that is Sat afternoon shopping at A$da and got my groceries. OH cleaned and prepped the living room for the paint job tomorrow so now we are sitting on our bahookies recovering!
Cant wait for everything to come together!:D

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Hey guys, so far it's gearing up well for number 9... but I did just get a text saying some friends are up from London and would I like to go for drinks... the rain has stopped so I'm tempted!

Had a very lazy day today, have mostly been reading and sleeping! I'd highly recommend it as a way to spend a dreich Saturday day! :D

It gets easier as you get more used to it. You become obsessed! And as a result get more organised. It take a few months to work out what works and is realistic for you though. And 3 NSDs are not to be sniffed at. That's three more than you'd have been aware of before you started counting!

    Hi All
    Can I join?
Completely new to this and even though it is half way through June can I put myself down for 5 NSD?
(kind of feel like I'm shouting at someone with that :o)
Going to count everything, direct debits as spends so maybe I'm starting with a target that is a bit high.
    Cheers
