    Hey

Im just lying in bed wondering what its all about?? Which is totally random but on the other hand i just keep thinking.... what is it that i want? What would make me happy?

I honestly don't know.... would all my debts paid be enough, having a clean house, no damp, no clutter, a nice garden, a bigger house???

Its silly it doesn't matter what we have we always want more!

I think i really need to set myself some goals and prioritise what it is that i actually really want. In order for me to do that im going to have to spend some time thinking about what it is i actually want.

I will need to write a list.... things i need to do.... things i want to do .... things i don't want to do but have to get done.... i'll also need a wish list (things i would love to do if i had the time/money to do them)

I've been looking through some diary's trying to get some inspiration and motivation so will go and see if i can find some before i try and get some sleep which could be soon as my eyes keep trying to close over!

Will hopefully have a better idea of what i want to do in a few days

Hey, that's a radical approach - sounds really positive. Once you find what you really, really want, you might find it easier to get there because you can stop trying to put your energy into lots of other directions as well. good luck with it.

Hey Buddibabe - I did an NLP course (just google it if you want to find out more) and we did a lot of work around goal setting and what they called "well formed outcomes". E. G. it is not just enough to say "I want to move house" - you need to break it right down into little chucks to see what you really want. I'm not explaining it very well but hopefully you will know what I mean.

You are so right - actually knowing what you really want is definitely a step in the right direction.

    Hi

Well as im not going to pay off anything else this month i thought i better update so as at 1st August 2011 my debt outstanding is not as follows:

    LOANS:

    RBS LOAN £3514.56 now £3263.52

    CREDIT CARDS:

    RBS M/C 1 £9719.00 now £9657.00

    RBS M/C 2 £5938.98 now £5935.00
    DEBENHAMS £1138.00 now £1125.00
    MBNA £3645.00 now £3606.00
    TESCO £2080.00 now £2070.00
    SANTANDER £385.00 now £380.00

    OH:

    GAS BILL £80.00 now £70.00
    CAR INSURANCE £120.00 now £100.00

    WEDDING FUND £500.00 now £450.00

    TOTALS:

    LOANS £3514.56 now £3263.52
    CREDIT CARDS £22905.98 now £22773.00
    OH £200.00 now £170.00
    WEDDING FUND £500.00 now £450.00

TOTAL DEBT OUTSTANDING £27090.54 now £26656.52

Total paid off in July £434.02 :j

Total paid off since 01.06.11 £1925.81

So this month i have managed to pay off £434.02 which is better than i expected, however, is not as much as i would have liked. I still owe the wedding fund £450 and the wedding is 7 weeks 2moro so am really going to struggle to pay it back!

I have taken a payment holiday from my mortgage for 3 months and my first payment holiday is the 1st August..... problem being is that although i expected to have £400 spare by this date i would have actually been £350 short for my mortgage without the holiday!

I need to get the wedding money back asap as things will need paying soon. On the plus side we have actually received money as wedding presents already (which reminds me i need to actually make some thank you cards) so we have the money we need and i can take a bit longer to pay it back if i need to i would rather not though just want to pay it back.

I really need to get some wedding stuff done tonight so better go get started. OH is on his stag night tonight so i get some peace :p

    Hey MrsP

Things are ok not great have so much on just now that i don't know if im coming or going!!

I've not been keeping my eye on money related stuff and things are kind of just hanging there just now. I get paid this week so hopefully can pay the bills outstanding from that then start to sort myself out.

I was supposed to be spending the day making invites and thank you cards but have been clearing out some of my livingroom and im disgusted by the amount of rubbish thats lying around. I managed to get rid of 3 bags of paperwork for recycling and 2 trips to the bin as well.

I have a big presentation at work 2moro and am supposed to be practicing but instead im lying on the couch watching bridezillas!!!

I have so much to do for this wedding (6 weeks today :eek::eek:) and i really wanted to be able to chill in the run up but instead i know im going to be running about daft and stressing about it.

I can't wait until 2m is over so i dont have this presentation hanging over my head.

I have so much to do :o:o:o

    Hows things with you?

Hi Buddiebabe - yes things are OK with me at the moment - moneywise not that great but heyho there is nothing new in that!

    Hope your presentation went OK.

I am sure that the moneysaving will all fall into place again once you are married. Are all the preparations in place? Its very exciting - so try and make the most of this time! My wedding day was the happiest day of my life - even when I think back I remember what a fantastic day it was and that was 18 years ago :)
