When you renewed, did they tell you how long to allow for the awards to come through? It seems like some people were told two weeks and others to allow eight weeks.

Yeah dont ring back until after 29th june as it taking upto 6 weeks ......

oh I hate not knowing, did your provisional award say u still av to send annual dec form as well even tho you renewed on the phone ....

Been looking through the threads and it would appear at first glance that those who were told to wait six to eight weeks before phoning again are the ones who have only received provisional awards which state that the previous year is being reviewed. However, that may not be the case for everyone.

Maybe this method is this year's version of that Specialist Renewals Team; I haven't seen them mentioned this year, so perhaps all the claims that would have gone through them are the ones that are given the later date?

Just a guess though; to be honest I have no idea as to how these things work!

There is so much stuff on here on so many different scerios - I dont know what to think. Im tempted to call but dont want to seem pushy. I am still receiving money so that all cant be all bad but as income was not right on the provisional they are overpaying me.

It sounds like a lot have been asked not to call and guess that makes sense. But since 5th May heard nothing which next week will be 4 weeks, when I did call 16th May my renewal had not been processed but as I received a provisional for this year the income was wrong and needed them to get this right.

Why should this process be so hard - is anyone else experiencing the same and perhaps another week of the unknown
