Not a bit, sunshine - and anyway after nearly 50 years of love & passion from 1 man - I wouldn't even consider it!

That means you must be a blue-rinser. They love it by the sea but they can be so bitter. :rotfl:

what you need is either a 'career' woman who only has time for casual affairs. a LOT of my friends would kill for some no strings fun, however they are with the jobs and responsibility -and therefore with the £s they earn i doubt they would be up for chips and a B&B OR maybe someone who's just out of a relationship who wants to have fun for a while.

I know when i separated from my ex oh I had a wonderful few months of no strings but we did agree ground rules from day 1. Nothing wrong with it as long as each party knows whats involved and what the future holds (or doesn't hold in this case!) fast forward a few months after our 'fling' ended and we bumped into one another round town we were both in a much better place in ourselves... that was 11 years ago we now have 4 children lol :)

I say that ^ as a lot of the women i know are looking for long term relationships (regardless of how it starts out) and the ones i know who would 'be up for no strings are as described above.

Obviously i don't know every lady in the UK and i am sure there are some out there who would be thrilled at your proposal :)

I think it is folly to rule out meeting someone who could be a potential life partner tho by saying you 100% do not want something.

ETA chuck in some gravy, and maybe bread and butter and i will see if i can get away for the weekend lol :):)

Steady on, let's not get carried away here, she'll get spoilt and maybe even expect a pie next time. ;)

BTW, there are women who want the same level of commitment as you and plenty of websites where you can find them.
    Whatever

As I already live by the sea I must love it - but bitter blue-rinser ? You'll never know:j And I don't do chips!

That would be fine with me, I have met very few ladies who like a pie though. A battered sausage yes, but a steak and kidney pie, very rarely.
Oh well. I will put my idea on the back burner for a while. I avoid stress at all costs so nothing is ever 'vital', it can wait. :T

When I read the OP I was actually thinking aww isn't that romantic, I was picturing watching the sunset by the sea sitting sharing chips and a cuddle.....

Then I read the other posts and thought Jesus, I'm an idiot!!

Now I want diamonds, lunches on a yacht and shopping in Milan....... :D

I thought the same when reading the opening post but would Never want diamonds, lunches on a yacht and shopping in Milan.

The simple things in life are the best :)

And 3/4 times a month is probably more than most long term couples get. ;)
