Lol get over yourself, everybody's different and wants different things at different times in their lives for many different reasons. I've only ever been in a FWB situation once but that was with an ex and it was nice while it lasted till he wanted more again which would not have worked out just like it hadn't first time around.
If you're the sort of person who thinks anybody who wants something you don't approve of is a slag then that's your closed mindednes and not their problem.
I was laughing at you...
as in.. hahaha.. funny funny.. I have a sense of humour...
I find it hysterically funny someone would actually post anything of this nature unless it was for a laugh.. or a forum for specific things.. Just think though how many women he could have on the go at once if he only had to bother with thm 3-4 days a month.. he'd have to be very careful with names.. or have them all with the same name.. and keep an inventory... see.. it is hilarious!!

...or else being referred as having my cake and eating it...Well as I said in the opening post, I'm trying to avoid all the mundane/hassle that will come, as you know, with a full on commited relationship. Ive done that and it really is not fun and quite wearing.
I suppose you also want to be the one deciding on these 3 or 4 days because it has to be convenient for you, and doesn't involve any sort of contact between these 'dates' as this would be too much trouble.
Well good luck finding this ideal, testosterone-fuelled male fantasy of a woman, as I very much doubt she actually exists!0 -

Well we'd have to arrange the dates to suit both.
A bit of give and take they call it.
I don't mind the occasional email between dates but hours wasted blabbering on the phone is a waste of time and leads to the whole thing evolving into something more serious.0 -

That's not really something you can cataragoricaly prevent though, if you happen across the right woman you'll be struck by that urge to text or e-mail or phone and there'll be nout you can do about it

When I read the OP I was actually thinking aww isn't that romantic, I was picturing watching the sunset by the sea sitting sharing chips and a cuddle.....
Then I read the other posts and thought Jesus, I'm an idiot!!
Now I want diamonds, lunches on a yacht and shopping in Milan.......
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in

I will resist, as I know it will eventually lead to ruining what we've got.
Don't gild the lilly is an expression I like.

Actually, the expression is DON'T GILD the lily - meaning don't gold-plate it .....not a worry in your case, I would imagine!
You might find it wrapped in a bit of left-over chip paper - but that would be yer lot!:rotfl:0 -
I know what the expression means or else why would I have said it. You sound jealous.0

dont shoot me but i think fwb works well as long as you know where you stand, just coz it doesnt suit everyone doesnt mean its wrong
(quickly runs for cover)
sex, drugs and rock n roll - you know it makes sense

But can't really be bothered with all the hassle it entails.
I think I work best being single anyway. But it would be nice to have the odd day out with a woman, by the sea, bag of chips, B&B, night of passion etc without it getting all too serious and then getting ruined. Maybe just get together for 3 or 4 days a month.
What are my options ?
Perfect
, but can we do 5 star hotel instead
