I agree about Wallis & the 'Faux leather' things I had a pencil skirt last year, it's really nice and feels great on! I was abit worried about looking like 'mutton dressed as lamb' I'm 44  (but sadly still feel like 24! Sigh!) but I soon got over that!
Oh & ShoeGal I remember the excitement of those early texts messages, I've only been in a relationship for about 18 months after 9 years of being single! Yes I did say 9 years! :rotfl:
Do you all go clothes shopping every week? month or do you save up & have a blow out?i wish my bank account could keep up with my Rockstar Lifestle! :cool:0 -

I have very little money for clothes shopping but I browse shops every week. I'm city based so shops are difficult to avoid. I'll try things on and I usually manage to get the things I want when they get reduced.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Love the cut of the jacket but confess I personally would miss the (subtle!) smell and feel of real leather.
Re TK Maxx, my tip would be just to go with no expectations. Pick a time when you're not rushing and rummaging could be fun. Sometimes there's nowt, sometimes you find a gem! And Lula is right about it being easier to go for specific sections. I tend to check bags, shoes and homewares in my local one, but rarely bother with the clothes as it takes so long to go through stuff.

Morning Shoesy,
just popping in to remind you go easy on the shops today.
With regards to the jacket, I'm with Mags & Rosa, sorry to be a bore but for me it's always got to be leather for bags, shoes & jacket. They smell divine (currently inhaling the innards of my new Fairysteps purse) last much longer & age in a dignified way.
Just my personal preference though, if you truly love it, have it0 -
Beautiful leather biker in Oasis - £165! Could this be my investment piece?
Life seems a bit dull at the moment, had my nails done this morning and treated myself to a naughty Greggs lunch!Feel fat now!

Wish I hadn't looked at oasis site though ... never mind, I'm such a bargainista these days I do most of my shopping on ebay & just live vicariously through your purchases :rotfl:
Glad you're enjoying your texts ... just wondering if this is the same guy you had text with previously ?0 -

Yes, I really like the guy and over the last couple of weeks we seem to have got at least our friendship back
Not counting any chickens but it's nice to get his text (he's away at the moment hence the texts)
