I rationalized that my new shoes shouldn't be punished just because I can't budget

Thanks ladies - still not decided but it's a nice problem to have :D Think I may redeem my points for House of Fraser (where the bag is) as there will be loads of choice if I change my mind about the bag. Am happy to pay for something more expensive than usual as I am using 'free' money - if that make's sense :p

Didn't do anything last night - was too hot and made me feel really tired. Am still tired this morning and feeling really bloated too

Dinner with a friend tonight, hopefully

Need to get some diet and exercise mojo from somewhere ;)

    Shoesy my lovely,

can't help with the diet mojo I'm afraid, gone right off them; but I am endorsing regular daily exercise, but only in the form of some walking, riding or simple yoga exercises. I find that really keeps me chilled & serene as well as keeping me supple :).

As to the bag/clothes dilemma I woud actually echo what Mags said about Tk Maxx. I've found both gorgeous bags & boots in there in the past & good quality labels too - rather than just fashion stuff. Our local one often has DKNY stuff in there.

On the other hand, I'm also hankering after a fab biker jacket & would only go for a great quality one that will last years.

Sorry, I'm no help at all .

If in doubt, do nowt ... until inspiration occurs :D

Gotta go confess on the CCC now - have already exceeded budget :o

    Thanks hun

And to answer your question on CCC - yes, a faux fur coast last winter (which I still love) - this time I want a jacket :o I never go into T K Maxx - it overwhelms me! But I may have to give it a try!

Ok, I'm seeing a 'Guided Retail' opportunity for me here :rotfl:

I agree, TK can be rather daunting, but if you go in first thing in the morning when still tidy & just head for either the bags or shoes section & only tackle those areas, it should be a bit less traumatic.

We can introduce homewares later :D.

In my opinion you'd be better off still loving the faux fur coat & having something completely different for a jacket - such as the leather biker one.

I'll take my unwanted opinions & go now ;)

Mags, thank you, and no I don't have my own diary, I'm lurking on other peoples at the moment!:D

I struggle with TK Max too but have got some great buys in there in the past! Think luck has alot to do with it but I can see how the getting in there early stategy might work! Tried some diesel jeans on in there last week but they were wretched! I could see why they ended up in there in the first place!!
i wish my bank account could keep up with my Rockstar Lifestle!

Thanks for all the T K Maxx advice - I will give it a go! :p Colleague with fab Chloe bag today mentioned it's a Hong Kong copy - and a fab one at that :) Am now thinking of asking her to bring me one next time she goes!

My friend cancelled tonight so I am at home with a glass of wine - which I'm actually rather enjoying! :D

I would say no because it's not real leather. Of course I totally understand real leather would cost 4 times that :( but I'm convinced a real leather one could be found at 50% off for around £100 and it would last for years. It would probably go out of fashion at some point but then look great again a few years later.

Sorry if you really :heart2: that jacket and I've turned you off :o

Thanks Mags :) Only seen it online so would want to look at it in store - but Wallis did some really nice 'fuax leather' last year, nearly bought one then! Just an excuse for a shopping trip tomorrow methinks - as if I need one!! :D
