If you had read my earlier post, you would of noticed that some of them were in my possesion in a hire car fleet I use to run. They were that good, i used to earn good money out of them as well. Not bad for a 'fool' eh?

    Bye!

    Ok here you go:

Is it just me or are other people having issues with build quality of the interior of a punto evo as well? (Reply from the Admin...)
Yes, there are a number of build-related problems

Problems with the build quality..... doesnt really go into any detail there does it and its for one model.

96th place for build quality is also a letdown, so the firm needs to boost standards.

This shows how easily people can be taken for fools. The reliability stats are all withing a few percent of each other, hardly anything major, if thats the Bravo stats then the Golf was placed below it IIRC.

Buzzy engines, poor Italian build quality, handles like a bus into the slightest corners, interiors dull and with as much noise refinement as Concorde - welcome to the world of the Fiat

What are we talking about here? The new twinair that 99% love? If not its nonsense, Fiat make the best and most reliable small engines around. How many FIRE's are out there?

Poor quality cars - admittedly the new punto looks nice but the rest look awful and are all bound to suffer from the same old poor quality that has dogged Fiat since it's conception.Don't bother phoning customer service for any goodwill - or in the vein hope that they have issued a recall for the problem or problems you are plagued by on your Fiat - they will just dash your hopes as the have no idea about 'CUSTOMER RETENTION'.
Cut your losses - get it fixed or sell it on, and avoid FIAT cars in the future as they will undoubetly go wrong, and involve you giving Fiat a lot more money to put right their mistakes.
Pay a bit more for your car from a quality reputable car manufacturer - it will save you in the long run

Again, selective reading when someone has agripe they post it on the forum, hardly representative is it?

Want you car to start in the morning? Buy Japanese. Otherwise - you guessed it - choose French

FIAT are actually Italian, I had assumed you knew that.

My friend you are the only Turkey here, and we are stupid for rising to your obvious trolling.

Troll on my bearded bridge dweller, troll on.....

I'm sure I read, or perhaps heard, that the recent twinair is a thirsty wee beastie? Low emissions which are great for avoiding congestion charging but put the foot down and what you save in Red Kens tax you lose in mortgage payments to BP?!?

The list goes on, Obviously I cant transfer you my memories of how bad these cars are so whilst we talk online these are the only sources I can provide,

Maybe this will help you understand that fiats are turkeys.

That's all very well and true, but more than 60% of drivers buy a car purely for how it looks.

Someone get the link for me please? Was it the BBC news website?

Anyway, enough of all this nonsence about how crap Fiat cars are in general (they mostly are by the way)

My partner recently bought a brand new 500cc 1.2. So far so good in my opinion having driven it myself. However if you can afford it i would go for the 1.4 as the 1.2 has very little power outside towns. The car itself appears to be well screwed together and is quite fun to drive.

If you want a new one Fiat were doing a very good finance deal which makes it quite a decent deal. They wont haggle on price but do try for mats, flaps and a tank of fuel and you may strike a deal.

By the way im not a mechanic!

So they're crap in your opinion until you actually drive one, then they're good?

!!!!!! not everyone thinks Fiats's are great because they really are not, They are on of the worst Marques ever to be created with shoddy and cheap materials used, Poor build and the only men you see driving them are the fairy types that think they look 'sweet' Any man driving a punto looks ridiculous and is laughed at (Hard) by any real petrol head or anyone who knows anything about cars so why dont you take you sweet little car and mouth and talk about something you actually know about like doing the laundry and vacuum cleaners.

    Ciao per ora
I dont have to show riches, To pull up, Pull of with some bad b*tches, It's about my persona, Aint nothing like a man that can do what he wanna

You still here? My freind if you ever met me, you would soon know whether i'm a 'fairy type' or not! Let me put it this way, I certainly don't look 'sweet' at 16 stone! The only people who are laughing hard are the ones at your Spainsh bull sh 1 t who actually have Fiats and as some of them have pointed out in this thread seriously dissagree with your 'expert' opinions. Personally I think you have either had one too many San Miguels or you've been in that Spanish sun too long but whatever your reasons for slagging off people who happen to have good experiences from a marque you clearly dispise, why don't you go back to playing with your plastic tool set because not matter what crap you spout here, you certainly will never change my opinion because DERR, i've got a closed mind on the subject.
