right, so i agreed to refund her full amount + postage yesterday. this is the option she chose, and shows as 'buyer prefered' option on the reolution centre page. I also underlined that i felt no further communication was required unless she was letting me know when to expect the wool back and this is what i receive today....keeping the case open, still asking for a refund on return of the item and the following message...
'Hi, Further to your message, I repeat that this is a NEGOTIATION PROCESS – It has not been concluded. It is not understood by me that no further communications take place - this is not the situation'.
Why does this woman feel the need to harrass me in such a way. If it was £20 i'd tell her to keep the lot and just f%^k off, however I need the money to cover my little girl's nursery fees this month. I suffer from severe depression and have only just been picking myself up the past few months and this is really starting to drag me down!
add to that, ebay have refunded another buyer full sale price plus postage because he couldn't be bothered going to his delivery office to collect the item, so i'm out the £10 postage for that too....ebay is a joke!

There is nothing to negioate - She needs to return all the wool and she will receive a full refund.

Dont let her get you down just stick to your guns. She is just a bully hiding behind a PC monitor. If you need to go to the contact us on ebay and ring ebay, They sometimes will contact the buyer on your behalf but it depends who you speak to.

    Hope you sort it.

    Completely agree with above.

Ignore them now. They have the option of keeping the item and not returning it for a refund or returning it and receiving a refund in full like you have offered!

Do not offer anything else. They are clearly trying to get more out of you! Please please do not cave in to this pathetic bully!!

1.)she asked for a refund-You told her to return the items then refund will be sent. Good for you

And as a matter of fact, she's within her rights to demand that YOU arrange pickup of the wool, and she does not need to send it back to you whatsoever...Though, if it goes through eBay dispute, then she would need to send it back to you and eBay may contribute a bit of money to send it back to you.

Just to say this is NOT true in the slightest. Section 14 of SOGA (quality) doesn't apply to private sales
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

    thanks halibut,
i think a few people missed the bit about it being a private sale. I have re-offered the refund on return of the item, and underlined that i will not be bullied in the future, and that I do not want any further communication unless it is in reference to the buyer sending the item back. that was yesterday, and i've heard nothing since....here's hoping that this whole sorry story is now coming to a conclusion... :)

True, but section 13 of the act states the goods must be as described, and this applies to all sales whether private or business, so if the wool was moth damaged (I'm not saying this claim was true), then the buyer still has the right to insist that the OP collects it.

Not that it matters in this case as the buyer can't return the wool or ask the OP to collect it as they have admitted disposing some of it.

I sold it as a private eBay seller with no refunds or retrns offered and started it at 99p. I answered questions to the eventual buyer making it clear I had no idea at all about what I was selling unfortunately.
Your selling it it is your responsibility to know what you are selling

If they open a dispute they will be told to return it for a full refund ( you will be forcrd to refund)

As you have seen photos a reasonable seller would refund without return. But reading what you have put i'm not sure you are.

Remember if you make it difficult to get a refund they will make their displeasure known in Feedback and DSrs which will effect any future selling.

As for stating no returns all that means is you don't except returns because people dont like an item not because you misdescribed it. Its a pretty pointless thing to put anyway as all they need to do is open a dispute and they will bea able to get a refund anyway.

They can return what they have as long as they can prove they have returned it this Paypal will refund them.

My advise would be to do NOTHING... yes, nothing, do not offer a return, do not offer a partial-refund, do not reply to emails.

Just wait for their next move and go from there since your clearly not dealing with somebody acting reasonably here!

With any luck they will move in.
Are you talking to the buyer or seller?
