Bit of a lazy day with the boyf
Cleaned the bathroom and bedroom, I'll Hoover tomorrow
Had a bit of an eBay binge... Have made over £90 quid this week from eBay so treated myself to a tenners worth of Benefit and Bobbi Brown make up -bargain!
About to kick the kitten out of the room as he's doing my head in, massive attention seeker that gets naughty when we're not playing with him, current about to strangle himself with the phone wire....

I'll update tomorrow with tomorrows shenanigans

    Love to all
    Xxx

Ps:dnms i think your hair looks lovely and your skin looks good with dark hair blonde is radical! I've had some stupid colours in my time including pink, purple and blue... Currently sensible blonde ;) xxx
Life is too short not to love what you do.

Hi guys  late posting for me. Have been doing a super clean for the flat swap but they decided the street wasn't for them even before they visited the house :( ah well have another couple to view next week....

perni good luck with the wedding dress mish!

pic of my new & much shorter hairstyle (t'was long until last night) am now deciding whether to dye it blond?

    http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n509/dnms1/IMAG0028.jpg

    Better luck next week DNMS!

Thank you - pleased to say I found one, just not at the outlet! So I have spent a lot (but not all) of my dress budget as it was reduced due to it being a discontinued dress but pleased all the same :D

Ooh loving the hairstyle! It really suits you :) I'm not too sure about the blonde though, your current shade really compliments your skin tone & is a gorgeous chocolately colour, is it natural? If you're bored of it & looking for a change though then maybe a few highlights could work, or even a nice red?

Thank you! See what I wrote above to DNMS - I have found the dress just at a different place! Hope you have a lovely long weekend :)

Hi, all! Today I hung out the washing and there will be none tomorrow.

Found a great new recipe for a yellow split-pea soup that I'll make with streaky bacon instead of the ham hocks it calls for and that will be tea.

It's raining again, quite heavily, with more forecasted for all day, so have a list of things to keep the weans busy - we'll be making yarn balls out of some leftover wool I have.

My elder girl has a condition called dyspraxia and my younger girl is only 5 so they will be doing some stitching with me using my darning needles which are blunt and plastic.

I have sewn a doorway puppet theatre from scraps and some puppets so we'll have a show and also we will put a blanket over the eating table and have a secret house.

We've not got a garden as this is a maisonette but we do have two verandas so we'll repot a houseplant as I got a bigger pot in Poundland when I went to civilisation for our son's hospital appointment last week.

    :)

I hope everyone has a good weekend. It's not a bank holiday up here so business as usual on Monday.
