Hi guys, a couple of paracetamol sorted me out. Own brand, of course ;)

I've nicked OH travel card and I'm heading for the bus to my mate's house. I think I'll need to get a taxi back though as it will be about 11ish - don't fancy the walk from the bus stop at that time - about 20min.

Just caught up with Glee today and a bit of Desperate Housewives. Relaxing Saturday afternoon to be honest.

Did tidy up a bit too but OH did most of it :p

    Have a good evening everyone.

    xxx

Oooh, lovely new short do DNMS - Wow! Blonde! Have you ever been blonde before? I've always been too scared. xxx

    Hi all,

First time replying on here, really nice to see how everyone is managing their DFW and sharing tips. Well for me is:

Checking my Ebay bids (I've had 6 bids on 10 of the items and I've got on 3 watchers on the rest!)
Completed my Tesco's shoppers thoughts survey
Did a Tesco shop and made sure I added everything up on my iphone as I went around and used my coupons at the till
Got some reduced party bag fillers for the kids birthday coming up
Got a birthday card for brother in law for 25p!
Checked bank balance and worked out budget for the month
Used Tesco petrol coupon at the pump for 5p off a litre
Made pasta for dinner instead of a take away

Wow, that's quite a lot and I'm surprised how I'm more careful about money now than before! :T

Hope everyone has a great bank holiday weekend and here's hoping we get some sunshine too! ;)

La E - glad you're feeling better and were able to go out! good call on the taxi - money saving isn't worth it when you're potentially putting yourself in a vulnerable position! Have a great evening!

    - HI  welcome to the thread, I'm glad you're finding it useful! I haven't looked back since I started doing a list everyday - really makes you think about stuff and where you can save or even earn extra money! Good luck with your eBay items:j

Pookie - sounds like you've had a similar day to mine! It's amazing how much you can find to do when you're deliberately trying not to go out and thus spend money!! have a great evening
