Annoying - Seller's greedy

Saw a house in very ideal location, asking price in the regions of close to 600k, and we put down 15k under asking price, we have increased 15k already, still not satified. Very anonying:mad:, their augument is: the agent told them another house on the same street smaller than theirs got sold at the price we're offering, their's bigger, should worth more, bla bla bla.
howver, they have been on the market for way over 3months, with us as the only serious buyer ! no competitions with us at all!. + that house ( we happened to view also ) was indeed a bit smaller, but has a gorgeous ground floor full extensions and semi-detached. This i think should compensate on the size. I think it's fair offer!. it's getting my nerv now.. Looks like they are just trying to archieve whatever they think, rather than whatever others are offering!.
What should we do:(, we just have our buyer( don't want to lose our buyer ), don't want to wait for indefinite time to find another house we're ready to put down offer for.
Advice please, i am tempted to move on now.

Decide what your walk away price is. Ask what the sellers will accept, offer your walk away price. And, er, walk away.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Thanks.. we've put down our final offer. waiting for defintely feedback now.
Even the EA aggrees is a good offer, considering the last offer they had was rediculous, and if they want to move in time for kids' school etc..
arrhh, it's very frustrating ! we're ok to move on, just don't want to lose our buyer indeed!.0 -
If they accept your offer then clearly you've offerred the market price.
If they reject it on the other hand, then clearly they believe you haven't, but only time will tell if they are right.0 -
Why is the seller greedy? Maybe they are realistic and you are the one being greedy trying to get something cheap?
Not suggesting this is the case BUT buying and selling is all about expectations/motivation/emotions/business and a whole lot more.
You need to be less emotional about this.0 -
Sellers aren't obligated to sell for a reasonable price. They are fully entitled to ask for an unreasonably high price. This is why it makes sense not to get too fixated on any particular house you've seen on the market.0

im sorry but i dont blame sellers trying to get as much as they can you cant blame them i would when i come to sell. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

For £600k I'd want a small planet, not a second hand house.0

Greedy? Why? That could also apply to you - you want something for less money.
It's a business transaction... if you are prepared to pay the price they want to achieve then the house will be yours - if not, then it won't.
Just because they have their house up for sale does not mean they are desperate to sell. Why do buyers always think that they have the upper hand? The seller may just not be fussed either way.
Buy / don't buy - your choice.:hello:0 -

I would agree with the general view here, yet it is a bit cheeky to reject the offer that take's it to the asking price.
"Ok, I'll give you asking price." Ah no... I want more.
Yet maybe there's another reason why they rejected, perhaps they simply do not want to sell to you personally.:www: Progress Report :www:
