    Hi all

Just a quick catch-up with the thread while I have a (rather late) spot of lunch.:o

Redruby that is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait to be seen; hope your Dad is OK.

Bitsy thanks for the Daisy update. I've had my jaw wired before, so I know what she'll be going through and am sending suitable coping vibes. Your bag is great – I wish I was that talented with a needle!:o

Tappers thanks for the heads-up on Anniestar. I've been to the dark place she currently is, so I really do feel for her. :o

    Hi everyone,

Things have calmed down at work now, the leaving ceremony for the pupils was lovely and there were a few tears.

Bitsy, that bag is amazing, you are so talented, I wish I could make something like that.:D

Tonight we are finishing up whatever is in the fridge and then heading off to the seaside, I am so excited, I love the beach, I don't care what the weather is like, I just like being by the sea.:)

Redruby, I hope that your Dad is ok.

    Right, off to tidy up,

    Have a good evening all.:)

    Afternoon everyone

Where has the sun gone? Very cloudy here today, got quite used to the sunshine. DS2 broke up from school today. He had his birthday present 2 days early as we will be up north on his actual birthday and cant take it with us. He got a new mountain bike, spent a little bit more than planned but wanted something that was solid so got a Townsend Mountain Bike. He was really chuffed and has been out for the past hour riding it.

os today bit more gardening done. packing has also been done. need to clean kitchen and hoover lounge wood floor again. Tea tonight will be bacon risotto.

Floss - Its about 2 years since I went to fountains abbey and it had changed then, the barn that I used to play in as a child is now part of the educational bit. The farmhouse that we used to stay at can be seen from the path as you walk down towards the abbey. I find it such a tranquil place and it is full of happy memories for me.
Bargainbird - Yorkshire is definately my favourite place in england to visit, I like Knaresbrough and Pately Bridge. Can't really remember it raining as a child but it must have done.
Bitsy - your bag is fabulous, well done you. Hope Daisy op goes ok.
NPM - Hope Noah enjoyed the bus and got his books, enjoy your few days and try not to worry (hard I know)
Redruby - Hope your dad is ok, I hope you made a complaint.
    Anniestar ((Hugs))

I may not get on over the next week depends on my whether my phone will work, may not have much signal. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.

    Afternoon all

    Bitsy - lovely bag!
    RR - poor dad x

Good day at work, got lots done. Weather has been a bit brighter here today but it's meant to get wetter over weekend :(

Tonight I am popping in on my mother's art show. She is doing an art course at uni and they put on an exhibition at the end. She has made 43 stuffed heads in various sizes out of old clothes and bandages - very OS I guess :rotfl:. Not quite sure how they will be displayed!

After that I think I will either get an un-OS takeaway or see what nice food they have in supermarket as I CBA'd to cook properly and feel like a nice treat.

OS wise - DW been on.

    Have a good evening all

Do you have any paperwork regarding the Windows software, sometimes they need a product key entering to verify it so it can work. Failing that do Dell have a free helpline you could ring?
Or there is the Techie board you could post a thread on but I they might need some more info as to what the message is saying etc.

    Hi again

Forgot to say earlier that when I looked at my household expenses for last month I've been spending £85 a week in the supermarket! This has got to stop. Shall be keeping a closer eye on things in future.

Right need to get my backside in gear
