Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
morning:D
DS just eating his sausage sandwiches then I am going to attempt to get the bus with him to the library as I have some books to take back and pick up and he wants to look for some books.
Need to get his things packed later as he is going to his dads tomorrow morning....he is then going to stay with his grandma (my ex MIL) till weds morning:eek:. His dad is going back to Spain for a week with his family and DS was invited but said no:o even though it was the place they went to last year etc so she said he could have a few days with her instead. He is looking forward to it. He went once before to her house in Oct hols last year and seemed ok although we got several phonecalls from him wanting to come home until he calmed down so we shall see how he goes.
Of course he wants to take his whole bedroom with him:o
So DH and I may have a whole 4 days on our own! I will have to concentrate hard on not worrying about DS.
Not heard from work re my notice. I have looked on tracker system on royal mail and it was delivered and signed for so they must have it;).
Other people who posted their notice in..did anyone get back to you about it or did you just not go back ever and that was that?
Bitsy good news about the darling cat:D..have just txt DH to let him know too as he hs been asking about her:o

Morning All
Just had a good blubDH had his wage slip and his wages are down £100 again  that is 2 months in a row
It turns out that the tax office has Bu**ered up and given him the wrong code and he will get a rebate but not until next month - that doesn't help us pay the bills and eat does it   He is on a low wage as it is, so we will probably go overdrawn - good job we have a high overdraft facility or we would be screwed.
Evidently it has happened to a lot of people because of the new system so check your tax codes peeps.
Positive vibes to all those taking exams today.
DS has a 2 hour chemistry exam today - his last one isn't until June 6th.
Bitsy Oooh you are clever............ that bag looks brilliant :T Best wishes for daisy x
Redruby :mad: on your dad's behalf I would have been screaming blue murder after 2 hours. Make an official complaint to the hospital so that it is logged and you can also report it to the quality care comission who are check up on patient care.
NPM I know you love Noah but it will be good for you to get a break for a little while ((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Just had to pop in for a quick read to settle myself after trying to do the house insurance for the past 2 hours!!!!!
Don't know about you guys, but I get dead nervous before paying....is it the right amount of cover?/ have I missed anything?/ do I take accidental cover?/ legal cover?/ how much excess? etc etc etc. I'm the same when I do the car insurance/ travel insurance etc. Ah well, nice to have the internet to shop around. My renewal quote was £202+ and I have got a quote for £136 with £20.20 cashback so that will bring it down to £106. Not bad. Just feel that there is a lower quote out there. Can you tell I'm putting it off?Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
