Morning all. I am having a bit of a tidyup and have come across some items in a superduper goodybag I got when I won a comp related to an event.I have absolutely no use for these items and wondered if anyone here would be interested in taking them off my hands as I hate shoving things in landfill. Apologies for the next part to anyone of a delicate nature - they are a couple of condoms and some eco friendly intimate liquidy thing. As I said before I have and will have no use for these so would be happy to stick em in the post for someone to get the benefit ;)

    _party_ It's Friday!!!!!!

Darling Step Son (DSS?) is coming for the weekend tonight and his friend is coming for the weekend too. The friend is a lovely lad with one small flaw - he will ONLY eat sausages! Guess what we're having over the weekend?! (Sunday lunch could be interesting...)

Hmmmm aside from the fact I had to abandon housework to do it yesterday I just don't have time to turn it into a business :o not sure the time and effort is worth it for what people are prepared to pay :( when you can get it cheap as chips from primarni why pay more for hand made ;)
Bitsy cos HM is nicer and will lats longer and also more unusual/exclusive..:j

Don't know about you guys, but I get dead nervous before paying....is it the right amount of cover?/ have I missed anything?/ do I take accidental cover?/ legal cover?/ how much excess? etc etc etc. I'm the same when I do the car insurance/ travel insurance etc.

I gosh this is so me :o I worry that the cover isn't enough for our possessions in the event of the house burning to the ground. Actually I've always wondered if that happened how would I contact the insurers as the paperwork etc would have gone up in smoke......can't you tell I have faaaaaaaaar too much time to think some days :rotfl:

    Hi everybody,
Hope all is well. Its a better day today, still windy though.Done my Sainsbugs shop, and DS2 has picked up a load of baby stuff he's bought from a friend( aaawww:D)so thats going in the loft until September.
    _party_ It's Friday!!!!!!

Had a suspicious bid on one of my eBay items as it was a totally new eBay user with no feedback and a really high bid amount. I emailed them yesterday asking them what payment method they would be using if they won and no reply so I took the plunge and cancelled the bid - only to find out that they'd actually bid up to £900!!

DS2 had some very dodgy dealings last week, though it was paypal not ebay as such-14 different transactions by different people, all amounts between £50-£60,so not far from a grands worth, and it had gone from his bank account :eek:Its all been refunded by paypal now,but left him short while they investigated. When you clicked on the transaction it said 'you've got funds!' So all passwords etc have been changed. Its a good job he got emails to his mobile,so he was aware of it quickly and started investigating.
Redruby- hope your dad gets well soon. at the wait.
Bitsy- I knew you could do it :jthe bag is fab.

I have finished my quilt, just needs ironing, then it can go on the bed ready for when DB comes on Sunday.I got some material for 2 summer dresses off the market yesterday, and happily the pattern in Prima this month will do very nicely :).

Good luck to examinees, school leavers etc
Reverbe- Thanks for the offer, but not stuff I would use :D

Hope everyone has a good BH if I dont get back on.xx
