_party_ It's Friday!!!!!!
Darling Step Son (DSS?) is coming for the weekend tonight and his friend is coming for the weekend too. The friend is a lovely lad with one small flaw - he will ONLY eat sausages! Guess what we're having over the weekend?! (Sunday lunch could be interesting...)
Work today then shopping tonight - very OS with only £17 in the bank. Good thing we have sausages in the freezer!
Packed lunches made for DH & me so just need to run the hoover around before I go to work this morning.
Had a suspicious bid on one of my eBay items as it was a totally new eBay user with no feedback and a really high bid amount. I emailed them yesterday asking them what payment method they would be using if they won and no reply so I took the plunge and cancelled the bid - only to find out that they'd actually bid up to £900!! So obviously a total and utter time waster who could have cost me a legitimate sale - why do people do that??
Meal planning this weekend too - I used to do this but let it slip.
Catch you all later. ((Hugs)) to all that need them.

Good morning to all, only a quick one from me atm will come back and catch up / update later.
I have to spread myself thinly today, ds1 has his leavers ceramony at 9.30-11 , ds2 has his 11.30- 12.30 and ds3 has his 1-2.30:eek: all in different parts of town.
Am actually really sad as ds3 year group are so nice , I have known a lot of them since they started school. He has a leavers party at a friends house tonight to go to .I think today is going to be a very emotional one for everyone involved, feel a bit choaked up as I type, daft woman;)

Good morning all.
Just lost a huge post
OK, grey and cool here but rain is not forecast so will chance pegging it out on the line.
Need to blitz the house today as DS & family are coming for a visit tomorrow:j It will be the first time I've seen him since his granny passed away, so it will probably be a bit emotional.
Normal schoolday Friday here, so DD1 & family will eat with us. Dinner will be our normal Indian:
Chicken Tikka; Beef Rogan; Saag Aloo; Lentil Dahl; Black-eyed beans & Mushrooms. Will have hg spinach and salad leaves.
Thanks again for all the kind words and support. I was apprehensive going in to work yesterday, but it went fine. No waterworksIt was a little difficult accepting everyone's condolences, but that hurdle is now passed.
Happy Friday folks, hugs to everyone who needs or wants - particularly Annie x x

Morning my lovelies
Pics of bagwith inner pocket for my moby
I am chuffed to bits with itGoing to make a flower embellishment I think this afternoon for it. I took the pattern for it from this blog and I love the fact there is no hemming required. Most of it is all stitched inside out and then turned. I did have to unpick a couple of things and I didn't twig that you sew up the body of the bag and the lining separately and then put them together later but it's all good practice
Considering I was drooling over a £40 Cath Kidston bag a friend has I am quite happy with my £3 HM version
No major plans this morning apart from more washing (which I neglected yesterday but was too wet to dry outside anyway, that's my excuse). Tea should be chicken chow mein.
Redruby - Positive healing vibes for your dad xx hope he's OK xx
Hugs and spoons all round. Have a great day OS or not.
PS. Catwatch - she's having her jaw wired today so fingers crossed that goes well.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Bitsy I loooove your bag
How clever are you????? I am off to do my house insurance and will bookmark the blog page so that I can make one for my dd1 as a surprise. Think I will use one of her fave t-shirts that are too small and make it as a surprise.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Mo.rning all,
It rained so much last night, there are still huge puddles on all the roads, I had to leap out of the way several times as cars nearly soaked me on the way to work. I have still pegged the washing out though!
Last day at work before half term, a lot of my pupils are leaving today, some of whom I have taught for 7 years, it is a bit emotional but I am sure that they will go on to great things.
Good luck to all taking exams today and hugs to Anniestar.
Will pop back later when things have calmed down.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)

Morning all.....
tempreture today is predicted to reach 43 degrees so I dont think we will be venturing too far from the air conditioning today! A bit of a slow start but summer is offically here to stay until the end of october..........I wish you all could send me some rain!
Got a bit of a shock yesterday and really need to sit down and see how much we are spending on Groceries each month. I went to the nearest town[ 45 mins drive away] to do a big shop after not seeing the inside of a supermarket for a month....I spent just over 1500 shekels and stocked up on dry, tinned, cleaning stuff ect ....thats with no meat as this week I had a meat delivery of 1000 shekels and then we usually spend 1500-2000 shekels in the local shop in the community where we live.....so thats a total of 4500 shekels at around 6 to the pound =750 pounds!
Most of the time its just me and hubby with ds19 in the army coming home every two weeks and 2 daughters visiting every few weeks.
The weekends when ds is home I never hold back...meat beer and treats and basically whatever he wants, I also send him back to the army with snacks, homemade cakes, tins of tuna and other extras to supplement his food there... I also put aside stuff for girls when I see special offers as one is a student and the other working for minimum wage in the city..
Well now its written down in black and white that makes it real and I am definatly going to watch what I buy this month....
Happy weekend everyone...hugs and spoons to those that need them....S0
