Be cheeky and tell them you paid the car park warden the fine..

My father recommended this one when I got my Euro Car Parks first ticket a few weeks back, he suggested I write to them up in arms as to how the charge could still be valid when I paid the "warden" £50 on the spot to cancel it.

I didn't want to go down that avenue. It is not that I care for the person issuing the ticket, far from it, it's just I don't wish to do anything that makes the PPC think for half a minute that I accept the charge and will pay.

So Coupon - you are Brighton fans? I suppose that means you are based in or near the town. Although I'm a Wiltshire resident, most summers I go to Brighton atleast once as I am fond of the town (no I am not a bandit but I do like the Pavilion, pier, town centre, etc.). If you don't mind a good stretch, then my parking place is the best: I don't do the NCP or the others, in 2006 I did and it cost me £14, a small fortune, some would say this is close to actual illegal charges! This was during my pre-knowledge days but when the ticket is bought after staying, on a machine, and to let you out through an electric barrier, your hands are tied. I now only use the marvelous marina park near the big Asda. 4 hrs max - no return within unspecified (so from one period to the next) - and best of all, no policing by anyone to my knowledge.

PS. Which part of Italy? The north somewhere? Or somewhere like Rome or Florence?

Well yes, no secret, I have said before that I am proud to be a Brighton fan and I live somewhere in Sussex of course but it's a big place! Yes I use any free car park where-ever I go (except Council car parks) so I am aware of the Brighton one you mentioned. :)

It was somewhere in the North and was very nice, we went to Milan but didn't even see the San Siro stadium!

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Haha, i know, I dont even go to the uni!

It basically says, They will return my case to the uni, and then in the same letter it says I will go to court, then again it says the uni will start court action.

Also worth noting, the fine is still £60 haha
