yes

one of the best other features is that if you happen to have forgotten to record something or you walk into the room and a program has already started, the Humax always records up to the last hour of whatever channel you are on so you can rewind immediately (and record the whole program if need be) or just catch up during the ad breaks.

I too have a Humax 9200T and can confirm its a great piece of kit. One problem I have suffered recently though is that the 'text' option on skysports news doesn't appear to be working anymore? anyone got any ideas please.

If possible, connect the Humax by the scart in RGB mode, if your TV supports it, quality is a lot better.

Unfortunately Humax are still playing the older one atm, which is 2 releases old now. I updated to .08 before xmas, which fixes a blank screen issue i occasionally got, however, i did remove ability to record a 3rd channel i think. Is another release out just before xmas, which i'll update to once i remember borrow the null modem cable from work, although might hang off as believe there's a bug in it.

working fine here, takes about 10 seconds after changing channel before it would allow me to load it though compared to 3-4 secs on BBC channels

Have you got a decent signal strength/quality on the SSN Mux in your area, might be a weaker signal from another transmitter for example?

Tried this weekend to see if Currys would pricematch Dixons for the Humax. My local Currys didn't have any so went to the one at Worcester. They said that they did not pricematch online prices and even there manager couldn't change the price. They would pricematch with Comet next door however.

Went into Comet. After waiting 10 minutes for an assistant, despite the place being empty, I was again told that they would not shift on the price. Doesn't anyone want to sell anymore?! :mad:

I am now going to purchase online through my quidco account so that I save a little extra.
Shame that I don't need anything else as I could get free delivery and an extra £10 off if I spent more than £200 at Dixons

WOW. Thats cheaper than Dixons if you include the delivery.

I can not get any voucher codes to work for empiredirect which is a shame.

However quidco will give me 2% which is an extra £3.39 saving.
Total of 169.99 + 4.99 - 3.39 = £171.59

Dont hold your breath on getting it soon though. I ordered today having researched for the best price and it shows in stock but have had email saying 1-2 week delay :rolleyes:
