How great to be able to get together with your sister, don't see mine often enough:( (too far away)

That must be difficult for you and makes me realise how lucky I am to have my family pretty much on the doorstep. But I don't appreciate having the family so close and its so easy to get into a daily routine and then weeks go past without me seeing them - although we do speak on the phone. Had such a good time last night that I am going to make sure it becomes a regular occurance.

I may not have made as much inroads in my debts this month as I would have liked, but I know that the changes in me and my attitude to money has changed big time :D

Sometimes yep the inroads are brilliant, but as you say it sounds like youve achieved a look with the attitude to money, thats priceless, but will work for you in the future 10 fold.

Glad you had a good night with your sister xx

OMG I have actually had a response to a job application and they want to see me :j I know I mustn't count my chickens before they are hatched, but its a start and even if I don't get it, it will be good interview practice as it's been about 4 years since I last had an interview. The great thing is it's one of the jobs I really want, rather than one I just went for as I need a wage.

Phoned them up to arrange the meeting and waiting to hear back a time, but it will be either Friday or the beginning of next week as the boss is out the island on business til then, so I have plenty of time to brush up on my techniques.

I really thought it was going to be a long day as I have already had a huge battle with my DS, but this has really given me the lift I need. :D

Just wanted to wish you good luck. I know that it very hard in Jersey everybody assumes that all is fine and there are real pressures to keep it all together. I hope all goes well for you.

Anyone got any advice for the interviews?

start thinking of responses to questions they're likely to ask, ask your OH to listen to your responses and see what they sound like - that's what I do - as I always get confused with what I am saying so if I rehearse it it'll be fine! also be yourself, and if it's meant to be it's meant to be :) as my mum says... you'll be awesome! xxx

Tell them how you have organised the renovation of house, organising workmen, liasing with suppliers etc.
