    It's quiet on here............

I wonder if it's because they merged the two threads and everyone has lost their 'subscriptions'...... or maybe I smell.....

It kept my subscription ... so that only leaves one option! :p

Only kidding! Must just be the quiet before the storm!

So this is all the weddings so far.

My plans are coming along really well. So organised could get married this June, never mind next:rotfl:

I've just been looking at readings and have been playing around adapting ones to suit.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

Alan_r_123, would you mind editing the first post in this thread to add 74jax's list (below) so it looks like the other 'month' threads in the forum ... I feel left out being in a thread without a list! :D

Don't worry Alan_r_123, John1982 only wanted it on the first thread so he could remember what date it was. Remind me was the the 2nd or the 3rd??:rotfl:

    Shhh you! :D

We've got a few 'important' things sorted (venue, photographer, registrar, rings, DATE!) and sent out STD cards with our Christmas cards. Think we're waiting for June, and 12 months to go, before we really ramp up the organising!

    Plenty of ideas though!

  • Me and my fiance are both trying to save for a house as well so we have tried to get as much organised as we can just now so it's booked and priced, and we just need to get that paid off before we can really concentrate on our house savings!

So far we have chapel, venue, dj, buses, cars, centrepieces, invites, photographer and cake booked. Main things now are what we will be wearing, rings, gifts for special people, stag and hen nights amongst a load of other things!

I'm currently looking at making some gift bags for those staying in the hotel, things they might have forgotten.

I can't buy many things as not sure on shelf life - do travel deodorants and tooth past have a shelf life :rotfl:

But have found a few bits and pieces. I for one am loving having so long to plan, the cost is so minimal each month, that we hardly notice it. I think it helps we only really have the ceremony and party at night as the 'serious' money, so that money aside everything else is to 'play' with.

When are you sending your STDs? Did you find a dress?
Sending out my STDs (sounds a bit wrong!) this week to far-flung guests (we've got family in Scotland and Australia). I haven't been dress-shopping yet as my weekends tend to be quite busy with one thing or another (at the moment I'm studying for a professional exam) but have got plenty of time :)

I did spot this gorgeous dress in the news though - Holly Branson:

I love the sheer straps (I'm not personally a fan of strapless dresses) and the shape of it. Just thought I'd post a bit of pretty dress inspiration :)

I've also got a pile of gold organza bags that have turned up from Ebay, for favours, so starting to get bits together. Slowly slowly catchy monkey :D
