I know it's all so far in advance isn't it, you sometimes feel silly for looking at things. However, we have started collecting shells and pebbles and stuff and I've made the wedding website with gettingmarried.co.uk which I keep changing and adding too :rotfl:

I bet it flies by.

I've started using Pinterest to save ideas for our theme (red/cream), flowers etc. I've got a big Wedding Planner book that my sister bought us when we got engaged, so I've been keeping notes in there as well, and I've looked online at photographers etc... Lots to do, but it still feels far enough away that I'm not worrying yet

Well I've been really busy - registrar, hotel and evening reception have all had their deposits paid.

I've ordered a load of stuff free from vistaprint so I now have

3 x pens saying 'we finally did it' and our names (these will be used for guests to sign the picture frame.
1 x sign to go inside the picture frame explaining what to do.
10 x cards for our Mr & Mrs game, where guests write a question ie who is the cleanest, and we hold up a sign saying Mr or Mrs - we then win a certificate saying 'Perfect Couple' or 'Needs Improvement'.
2 x Mr & Mrs Certificates (as above).
1 x banner with our photos in silly hats etc saying 'Strike A Pose - Visit our PhotoBooth'.
1 x banner saying Top Tip Tree - for our guests to write their top tips for us to have a happy marriage.
100 x business cards with This is our Top Tip on them and a place for them to write us a message and they have been hole punched to be hung on the tree.
1 x fabric bag saying Maid of Honour 2013 to give to my MOH on the nighttime with a thank you gift in.
1 x MOH mug with thanks on.
25 x flyers to go on the tables at night, explaining about the signing frame, photobooth etc and listing what the hot buffet is.
25 x rack cards to go ont he chairs during the ceremony giving the order of the day.

I'm still checking Vistaprint weekly for their freebies, want some more free mugs and personalised bags etc to give the thank you presents out in.

Still collecting things for the photobooth as and when I see funny items.

I wish the wedding was this year.....................

Booked the church but still deciding on the venue
Been looking at vistaprint too, for invites I think, though may use the 'postcards' for invites, not sure what the quality will be like -anyone had experience with those?
Bought my dress!!!!! been very MSE, got a bargin for £50 on ebay, lovely poofy dress, came with the hoop skirt as well, just got to wait 17months to wear it lol

It's great getting your dress so early isn't it - I got mine off ebay too, I just want it to be this year!:rotfl: what kind of dress is it?

I like vistaprint, had some postcards off them too. trick is to make up what you want and leave it in your 'portfolio' then in a couple of days you get an email saying they're free (how they make money I haven't got the foggiest) . If you start now, then you will have plenty of time to play around with different things, You can normally only order 4 free things at once - but that could be 25 postcards, 25 rach card, a pen and a banner - not just 1 post card :rotfl:

Yay, our "save the date" cards are ready I designed them, and OH's friend very kindly agreed to print them up for us for free (he's a graphic designer) so we just had to buy the paper. Anyway they're all printed now, so we'll be able to send them out soon :j

...I really want to start looking at dresses too!
