Yes but that's just me, I like to have things done yesterday lol. We have the church and venue booked and deposit paid. We have booked our car and photographer. The reason being, those are the ones that are booked out for the whole day so if that day has gone you dont get what/who you want. Also becuase we have booked now they have fixed the price so we wont be paying 2013 prices. I have also bought two of my bridesmaid dresses as I walked into a bridal shop with my partner so he could look at suits and he pointed out some bridesmaid dresses in the sample clearance rail, perfect for £30 when wthey should have been over £120 so I had to have them. My other two bridesmaids I have to dress but they can wait till i see some more cheap ones in pink. There isnt really any sudden rush on things, I'm just buying as I see and looking at ideas that way hopefully will gets best value for money. As long as the most important things to you are sorted the rest will follow.

    Very nice.

Yeh well I have the venue and chapel booked and deposited so pretty good with that, and our package includes centrepieces, overnight accommodation, seat covers, cake stand, top table flowers and dj - so have got all that sorted lol. Plus our photographer is a mate from work so he is doing us a good deal.

We are just starting to look at transport now. Getting quoted 500-800 quid for a 50-100 seater bus at the moment so trying to get that down a bit.

Who did you book your wedding cars with and what are you paying? Thats something else I have been looking at and am struggling to get at what I would class as a reasonable price!

    Thanks

You have loads sorted then if it's all included. We are only having one car as the church is just down the road so my partner is walking and its taking us to the venue, bridesmaids are going in his Grandads merc. We are paying £250 for the car its a rolls royce 5seater. The other larger cars like daimlers are around £400.

Yeh we chose a venue that offers a kind of all inclusive package so a lot of the works taken out of it :)

Just trying to price wedding cars and buses now for transport!

Following on from the 2013 general thread, I thought I would start a June 2013 one :j

My provisional date is 1st June - I have paid all deposits but cant confirm to guests until January next year once we know that date is ok with H2B - all venues confirm it is ok to move the deposits to another date as long as we stay with them, so fingers crossed.

Who else is a June Bride?

WOW, 10months seems not that far away at all.......

I totally agree on the buying bits as you see them, it doesn't really seem such an expense then.
