Thats a great idea with the ebay account Jamie I never thought of that when I was using it and had a huge overdraft, hopefully it will help others on here too theres a lot of people struggling to get rid of these....I made mine one of my first targets and *fingers crossed* have not had to use it again since I paid it up in June it makes a real difference.0 -

I have set myself a similar challenge, although deadline isnt quite so close as Feb, just a vague next year sometime. I have got some good tips from the 'money from nothing' thread, it has really inspired me that it is possible to squeeze £1000 from an already squeezed budget. Best of luck.0

hi all:)
have just been looking at my budget from now until 31st, i think i should be able to stretch myself and pay about £30 off overdraft. once january comes i can really start to hammer it!:)
I am planning to pay in january a total of about 500 quid off, which should then leave me about 430 to find in feb to complete the challenge......fingers crossed ehNovember NSD's - 70 -
Great challenge! I have an overdraft of £1200 and haven't really been doing anything with it. I've been concentrating on the CC's. But you 2 have inspired me to satrt tackling this as well.
I have never sold on e-bay. This is going to be my new year challlenge. It's a great idea to set up a paypal account attched to the OD then you will be less tempted to spend any profit.
But as a e-bay virgin what do you sell? (and how easy is itto do?)0 -
hi judy
i sell anything and everything, books, cd's, kids clothes, toiletries etc its def worth a try:)
just to add to this thread, paid off 100 quid off overdraft this morning
balance now: £860:T
getting there...November NSD's - 70
