i have started doing spreadsheets again this month to clock every penny going out, i havent done that since i started the business lol. however it is nice to see where i can cut back:) also i have installed money 2006 onto pc again to track current account and overdraft so i can chart my progress!!!

i think that december is still going to be a difficult month to try and tackle it, but i do see us both making great inroads come january!! go us!!!

  • Just read through this thread and wanted to say all the best with your challenge. My birthday is April 5th and I'm a bit of a typical Aries, so I know how competitive this might get!!!

Good luck :D I'm looking forward to hearing how you're getting on and picking up tips for doing my own challenge, too.

LA - im sure youll catch up no problems:) i know the kids are going to cost me a fortune over the christmas holidays, so i dont think that i will be able to pay off as much then, however, my daughter is off nursery 3 days over the christmas period and i pay her nursery fees out of my housekeeping budget,so i am hoping to put that money off the overdraft instead or at the very least ease the cost of the holidays with the kids off.

  • Don't you worry - I'm just being impatient with myself (Aries trait...!) because I want to start now.

I'm really pleased for you though, you're going great guns and if you put that nursery money towards it as well, that's another useful amount.

    Good on you.
