    Good question!

I think learning to budget and sticking to it. Also, be true to my alias and LOOK ahead to see what is coming up that will need cash and adjust budget accordingly.

    And your good self?

    Dear All
I am glad you found my reply so humorous, despite that I clicked on the thread from Lyric_grace where she/he stated:

Sounds like you are determined! Good luck with it, if I have any ideas I chip in, and I'll follow thid thread with hope for you!

Trying so hard to co-ordinate a MSE wedding any ideas apprecieated!!

The fact that my reply was placed where is was I admit did not change the fact that I was trying to give her/him my 'ideas' regarding a
    'MSE Wedding!'

    Hope this clarifies everything;)

Why would you want to give ideas on how to have a cheap wedding???, Jamie is not intending to get married and neither am I, weddings have not been mentioned??? I find this post bizarre, (or someone taking the mick)

I appreciate you may have been trying to help, but in future, as is with most forums if you stick to the topic within reason you will enjoy better replies

I dont mean to sound mean here, but i just want to make sure you get the most out of mse and other web forums

  • ok enough now, thanks lucy for amending your post.

now can we get on with what this thread is all about......paying off some debt!

LA - didnt have time to go to the bank today as it was so busy at work,so will be going today:) i thinkby the end of the week i will have managed to pull some money back from household budget so i think i might be able to squeeze a tenner out of that to put towards the overdraft:)....hows it going for you?

  • Hi JD.

    Well, not so brilliantly.

I guess I'd better just clarify...that figure in my signature is not what I am actually overdrawn right now, it is what I will be overdrawn by the time next pay day arrives!

I have to go to the speedbank today to get out some cash for boots to be re-heeled and also my bus fare for the rest of the week & some postage. I'm hoping just a tenner will cover it all.

I think I will be putting a block on any going out of any sort between now and pay day because I need to really put the anchors on to prevent sailing right past that projected figure....I am hurtling at a rate of knots towards it now let me tell you

Don't worry though JD, I'm still *well* in and this thread is spurring me on!

Glad you have managed to get some cash towards yours hon. :T

  • Nice one JD!

I think I will definitely be slightly increasing my overdraft by the end of this month but to be honest it could have been a lot worse considering the time of year. I (hope) don't think I will go over by that much.

January is when the real hard work begins for me!

I found 2p on the road by the bus stop yesterday - I made myself laugh cos I pocketed it thinking "That'll be another 2p off my overdraft when I bank all my coppers next month!" and thought about my MSE signature being updated!

    Obsessed? Moi? :confused::D
