The double standards at work.

I find this a bit of a irony. It is plastered all over my university's handbooks that they do not accept handwritten work is not accepted as the marker can not read it. But yet it is okay that the marker writes in unreadable writing all over the essays. Okay I got an above average mark on it, but it would be nice if you could read the comments.

I have asked 3 other people to try and read it and they can not really even read it.

It is fine you could ask the marker but they are out of the country, so that really helps.

Double standards are rather annoying.

If the marker cannot read your writing, then you will suffer in the resultant grade.

If you cannot read his writing, it does not impact the grading you received for the work.

Christ, this isnt even the Haber Process, let alone rocket science.

They have gone on holiday overseas, so not really.

Comments are really more useful than the raw grade as it tells you how to improve for the next one.

Just ask when he comes back.
Not every slightly or rather annoying thing is a big ethical issue phil, you are going to get the habitués down on you like a ton of bricks now.
More important is you’ve just reassured yourself several sections of your life are going right, now what about also your study programme to make sure as far as possible “Okay I got an above average mark on it” also for the future, the important few weeks starting now, not just the rituals of reading but the ways of making sure it goes into your head and you can access it when needed? These small complaints are nothing besides that, don’t let them, don’t let anything, be excuses!
Sorry my posts so long - not time write shorter ones.

Hello? It doesnt affect your grade for the current piece of work if you cannot read the markers writing. It does affect your grade for the current piece if he cant see what (no doubt totally illogical) points you are trying to make in an essay. Whats so difficult to understand about that?

I see that, but that thought misses the purpose of feedback to a large degree.
