can I just say, will you please put a bracket into this sentance and point out that people should ask their bosses about charging their phone, most will not object but if you don't ask then it is the same as stealing from the company.

Pixie - just thinking - if you start the thread tomorrow, what do you think about deleting that line at the beginning - it's just there as an example anyway and it's the only thing anyone ever says so maybe easier just to delete it???

Snoop! So nice to hear from you, your posts are inspiring. :D

OH's job interview seemed to go pretty well - they were talking about salary and bupa cover/flexitime, which I wouldn't have thought they would go into detail about if they weren't considering him... oh, fingers crossed. Their last interview is on Tuesday so he will find out shortly after then though. Hope so, so much! Job is at my work so I will be saying hello to the interviewer every time I walk past to gauge his reaction. :p

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello all!

I'm very late again today. I don't know what's up with me but I just can't cope with mornings this week and feel incredibly tired through the day...I think I must be fighting something off :(

I haven't been very MSE today. I had to go to court over council tax my former landlady didn't pay today - to my great relief the council accepted that I'm not liable because it was a HMO :) After court I ended up going to the pub for a celebratory drink and lunch with my former house-mate which was lovely but took a chunk out of my weekly spend target, eek!

    Other than that, today I:
-had breakfast and dinner from stores
    -checked online banking
-worked out budget for holiday next month
-looked for cheap self catering accommodation for october half term hols
-checked ebay (still no payment or communication from winning bidder on the weekend grrr, gentle nudge email will go tomorrow!)

Hope everyone has had a lovely day x
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Knitty - Ouch! Hope you find yourself in a better position soon
Catmiaow - Have a lovely time in Brussels & London, sounds fab!
Compliments - Sorry you didn't get the job, hopefully it's for the best & something better will be along soon
Snoop - Welcome back! Glad to see you are as positive & inspirational as ever!
    Mowgli - Welcome :)
DNMS - Glad the hangover has passed ;) I am indeed spending less & really thinking before I buy something. For example I've seen a dress that's not too pricey (£15), similar enough that I don't need to go out & buy a whole new pair of shoes or a bag etc to go with it, & yet I am STILL (2 weeks later) debating whether or not I should buy it. I think I will as it will be a nice summery dress & I only really have occassion dresses, but we'll see how it goes. Plus I think if I do buy it, I should at least get rid of a pair of the millions of jeans/samey tops I own. I just wish I had more time at the moment to really have a good old clear out! Thank goodness it's a bank hol weekend.
La Escocesa - I agree, I'm getting tired of people who don't understand the thread commenting on that one...I like to think we all have a bit of common sense round here! :D
Browneyedbazzi - Congrats on the court hearing, must be such a relief!
