I've got 3 Ryanair flights over the next few days, my cabin baggage will be under 10Kg and within their maximum size, I guarantee I will have no problems.0

When i saw this thread,i told a work colleague(who's is always off on his travels)about it. He had just returned from Lanzarote the month previous. He told me a story about Ryanair at Lanzarote Airport. A larger than life bloke was checking in at the airport, when the attendant said his case(hold) was overweight 17kg,i think Ryanair is 15kg. He quickly took stuff out of the case, put it on the scales again 16kg. He took more stuff out the case, again just over. My friend told to him to use the scales on the next belt,he did this. 12 kg. Is this a scam or what.0

I think a reporter tried to follow the cash trail after paying the excess charge and found that more than half the money collected was creamed of by airport staff. Hence the reason they are so vigilant.0

I recently had a problem with Ryanair (not baggage allowance but in respect of non payment of 'volcano disruption') - and as compensation not forthcoming sued in the Irish Courts (Dublin - 15 euro - very easy on line) and received my money. At 15 euro it may be worth considering if only to get the £40 excess/oversize baggage cost back and at least end up with a smile on your face.0

The three that were employed on the desk looked proper bruisers. All of them overweight. I was queueing at gate 40 right next to them and we were all watching. It was ugly and so were the Swissport employees carrying out O'Leary's dirty work ...
Unbelievable.. so the staff were physically overweight? Bloody outrage. Ryanair- scam, fat, overweight, rip-off.0 -
