I was just about to say that Louth store was going to be a B&Q :p

The lady at the till (went in for a chest of drawers 20% off lowest price) said that it should open as a B&Q 6-7 weeks after it closes down.

I have only ever bought 1 thing from them, an electric planer for £49, it managed half a door before the motor burnt out, the replacement had no blades fitted and none in the box, ended up getting my money back and buying one of B+Q's for £29.99 WHICH IS ACTUALLY QUITE GOOD.

went into our Focus this morning (Newtown, Powys), not many reductions yet. Mainly 10-30% off a variety of things. got some plants and garden things.
Talking to a member of staff, none of the welsh stores have been purchased so will all close once all the stock has been sold. Very sad, especially as we would have to drive 40miles each way to our nearest DIY superstore. The lady I was talking to has been there years and was almost in tears.
