ahh excellent, thanks for replying, might take a look later..i was actually planning on looking for bird stuff wondered if they had any cheap (feeders/boxes etc) but probably not, my son is really into birds at the min, im sure he would love to get a glimse of that nest

Gloucester store 20% of all paints and decorating sundries.
20% - 25% off various other stuff but what I would class as popular stuff still was not marked down.

Display furniture and bathroom stuff discounted but nothing more than you would get in an end of line sale.

Plants various discounts but to be honest they looked past their sell buy date. Staff very helpful and still trying to provide a good service.

Came away with nothing as comparing prices B&Q for example are still cheaper, several customers talking to each other saying exactly the same.

Asda hope to unveil the new format stores in the autumn of this year at sites the purchased sites in Aberystwyth, Clevedon, Gillingham, Stamford, Torquay and Woking

B&M Retail has agreed to buy 11 Focus DIY stores out of administration.

Focus DIY, which had a portfolio of 178 stores, went into administration on 5 May following a credit default.

On the day Ernst & Young were appointed administrators, B&Q announced it had acquired 31 of the stores for £23m and it would open the units as B&Q shops later in the year.

Last week DIY retailer Wickes agreed to buy 13 of the Focus stores.

Chief executive of Focus DIY, Bill Grimsey, is also said to be working up plans for a management buyout to buy back a portfolio of up to 70 stores.

Other retailers thought to be interested in the remaining stores include supermarket chain Morrisons, Homebase and The Range.
