I can't decide between two curtain choices...

  • First pair for me. Smart but slightly softer than the stripey ones, [whispers] (which remind me a bit of a teenager's duvet cover)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Don't like the second one at all. I've also never heard of coordinating your curtains with your cushions...

The only problem with matching the curtains to the bedding, is the duvet cover and pillowcases can fade over time due to washing and I personally think this is a no no.

You cannot go wrong with a white duvet cover and some lovely cushions and a throw at the bottom of the bed.

If I remember a thread correctly from a long time ago MrsE, you had a white duvet cover and blue cushions on your bed, I remember it well, as I thought it looked lovely and crisp and I now have a very similar colour scheme on my bed.

No, not blue cushions - gold, raspberry & brown (like a box of expensive chocolates - I saw a TV designer use that for inspiration & I liked it). Everything else is white, bedding & curtains, but rich cushions & a big faux fur chocolate brown throw folded in half down the bottom half of the bed.

Glad you liked it:D You can't go wrong with white towels & bedding,
  • I've had to give up on white towels, as even though my husband insists he washes his hands thoroughly he still manages to wipe the dirt off onto them turning them black and grey.

But i can't complain as the dirt is usually from DIY projects.

Hi bailey, back to your curtains l think buying the set you like best but mixing with a couple of the block cushions from your 2nd choice would still work. You've got the brown band in the curtains so would work with those cushions.

    Hope that helps. :D

    Happy moneysaving all.

I like the first pair, the second ones are a bit boring for me!
