I can't decide between two curtain choices...

Please can i have some opinions, i've narrowed it down to these two, DH doesnt mind and my mum likes both (ultimately i get to choose
).
Has anyone got either and what are your thoughts. I'd also purchase a couple of cushions for the bed too to match.
I really these curtains but the cushions are ok

But i also like these curtains but prefer the cushions i think

We've just painted the new bedroom magnolia and the carpet will be beige/neutral leading thro to an ensuite in Natural Calico on the walls and chocolate brown tiles. So i reckon either choice would work.
Just thought i also need to sort a blind for the ensuite window too!
The moneysaving aspect is helping me make a choice i'm not going to regret! :rotfl::T
Thanks for your opinion.

I like the second ones best

I think you might need a sprinkling of turquoise orange or red to lift the colours, maybe a vase or something?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Second option for me too, but I was kind of hoping for something a little more exciting when I saw a link for Duck Egg curtains. I was dissapointed.

First set state dry clean only. Second set have no indication.
Washable is always better, in my book. Good luck in deciding - sometimes choice is its own problem!0 -
Definitely nol 2, like another poster says, a splash of orange somewhere,
They are so nice Im off to Dunelm to have a look at them myself, Ive been looking for some lately and these look just the ticket.
Thanks.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Well I really like the first ones, I think they are prettier, but it depends on whether you like the plainness of the second ones.0

Oooh thanks people, its lovely to hear others opinions, i'm not very artistic and imaginative, so i really appreciate outside views. Dunelm Mill is 40 mins from me, so i'd probably order online as postage is less than petrol and its free returns if no good.
I really agree about the splash of colour though, i've just put some lime green candles and vase in our downstairs loo to brighten it up.
I think maybe a nice wall print as well as the vase. Hmmm any other suggestions for this.
McKneff your very welcome, glad to be of service!!!
Thanks people. Will order tonight when DH comes home as i'm bound to choose the wrong sizes. Unfortunately i like the Aurora curtain poles on their site, but typically the offer means they are out of stock, so unsure where to buy them from. Any recommendations out there? I'm looking for silver/metal over wood/brass.0 -
If you want the sun blocked out in the bedroom the first set are a no-no. I have the first curtains in aubergine and even though the colour is very dark and the curtains are lined, the sun shines right through them. They are very pretty though, so we added blackout lining to them.0

I have your second choice ones and they are lovelyRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Thank you, the sun will shine in but not first thing as our new room is south and west facing. But there will be an element of early light i guess. MIL is very handy with sewing so black out lining shouldn't be a problem.
I like them both, but i guess i need to consider the cushions and of which i favour the second choice. Not quite decided though and would like further thoughts if anyone would like to post. Also on curtain poles too please, for people who bought these or similar, where did you buy your poles and were you happy with your choice?0
