the easiest way to book these tickets is too book single tickets each way. the computer seems to understand it better that way!!

I agree, it helped to keep the search criteria as simple as possible. I found that if you select one ticket, click 'buy now' and once it's gone to the next page use your back button and click 'buy now' again, this was successful in putting 2 tickets in the basket, so much quicker than going right through the whole process and then selecting 'book another journey'.

Got some good bargains in the wee hours of this morning - bleary-eyed now! - eg. returns from Brighton to London for 2 adults for £2.50 total

If you search for a return journey, though, the system offers single tickets there and back very clearly, which are far cheaper. There's certainly no need to 'book another journey' or go back to do it. :) I've always done it that way and found it much easier. :)

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

Does anyone know if you are able to book Portsmouth to Brighton?(or Portsmouth to anywhere other than London Victoria for that matter!!)

I've managed one from Portsmouth to London return (8 of us for £9!! - bargain!) but wondered if I could go anywhere else on the Southern network under this deal? I wont waste any more time searching (and crashing) if its not possible.

    many thanks:beer:

am giving up for the moment it's sooooo slow.... Last time they did this offer we managed to go from East croydon to brighton but this time it seems to be only from Victoria???or i'm doing sthg wrong. will try later..

I too wanted East Croydon to Brighton but they were at NORMAL price :(

So had to make do with leaving from Victoria which is a bit of a pain for my daughter & her friends who all live in Croydon so they will probably have to catch a train to Victoria first!!!

Still a good price though , thankfully , AND SO GLAD have my tix now as looks like its gonna be a nightmare to book all day!!

As East Croydon is on the way, you don't have to go all the way to Victoria.

Your ticket will let you through the barrier at East Croydon
